Getting SO SAD Over How The Dynamic We Were Introduced To With Kitty Was Fanny Being Annoyed At Her Very
getting SO SAD over how the dynamic we were introduced to with kitty was fanny being annoyed at her very existence and essentially calling her a goodfornothing dimwit and how the dynamic the end of s3 focused on with her was the captain trying to get her to smile and telling her stories and treating her suspicions as valuable. bc the captain and fanny used to be one and the same and . man. theyve both grown so much and idk if it means anything but it means something to me

Just me being over emotional don’t mind me 😭
I genuinely think that the Nathan Foad and Con O’Niell panel healed a bit of my soul ngl. For my entire life I’ve HATED celebrity interviews and panels with a passion, I avoided them at all costs. They just gave me so much horrible embarrassment and I didn’t know why. Today I realized that that’s because celebrity interviews always made me feel stupid as a queer autistic person for obsessing over my favorite media so much. Seeing actors and creators being weirded out by fans like me made me feel absolutely horrible, overstepping a celebrity’s boundaries continues to be one of my greatest anxieties. (Tbh that’s probably why I post way more on tumblr then on Twitter, less chance of the actors noticing me). Watching the panel today was so amazing and exciting for me, the way that Con and Nathan were so excited to talk to their fans and hyped them up and laughed at their jokes was something I’ve never seen before. I’m so used to the actors in shows with a large queer fan base not understanding the fan’s in-jokes and queer readings, and getting to see these two lovely people validate them AND add on to them was truly so special. I don’t think I’ll ever have the confidence to go to a panel like this myself, but seeing fans like me light up when they get treated with enthusiasm and warmth was so important to me. All their answers were amazing and interesting and I’ll definitely be fixated on this for weeks. Thank you Con and Nathan (and everyone else who worked on ofmd) for creating a community where I don’t feel ashamed of who I am. Cheers!
