1. her style, her choice. there are plenty of teens who dress like this. you don't have to like it, but don't be a b***** about it. you're giving hot dog water energy.👎🏾

2. she's a teenager. her features aren't fully formed yet. moreso, not all teens look the same. also, puberty. duh.

3. while it's not wrong to encourage health and fitness, it's ALSO not wrong to love your body at any size. (psa: if you're working on losing weight, it's not easy, but not impossible! you got this! 💪🏾)

4. look what Nickelodeon did to the April you preferred: (using 2012 April as an example because her design contrasts strongly to mutant mayhem's April)

Personally, I don't have a problem with her design. Never did. (she had the worst attitude tho, but that's not what this is about 🙃) But I DO have a problem with the minds behind the show setting her up like this. Sexualizing her. She's sixteen! WTF were these shots? What was the reason???? As a teen watching this at the time I was lowkey uncomfortable, but I didn't know how to put it into words so I just shrugged it off.

ANYWAYS,

I'm rooting for her and I'm rooting for this movie! The thing that I love most about the TMNT franchise is how much variety and diversity it includes in both shows and movies. It doesn't feel like I'm watching the same show in a different font.
