Everyone as of the s8 finale: 

Boatem crew: Scar built a rocket over the boatem hole, scamming the others out of all their diamonds and getting everyone test dummy suits in the process. He specifically built the rocket upside down, with 4 trap door directly over the boatem hole. The crew put on their suits and got into the rocket, proceeding to go through the trap doors and into the hole. They stand in the hole, standing on nothing and surrounded by a background of ender particles and portal, joking around and saying that they can only wait. Scar casually suggests that the blue particles could be seasons or worlds that they’ll travel to. 

Bdubs: he keeps talking about how everyone wants to leave. Going around the server with his horse and parrot and checking out all the builds, he keeps saying that it could all be his. He seems genuine while he’s talking about it. The hermits have a meeting that quickly turns into everyone agreeing that they should leave, dispersing within a minute. At that point, he’s completely sure that everyone is leaving. He even says that Tango and Keralis aren’t coming back. He decides to stay. (everything’s falling apart. Tango…Tango’s still in space. He should stay there. He should warn him. Maybe he shouldn’t stay after all) 

Cleo: she knows what’s coming, but she has no idea where she’s going afterwards. So, she spends most of the episode stocking up on as much as she can. In the remains of the meeting, she asks Joe what he’s gonna do (”I mean-you’ll always turn up-you always do. So um-” “y-I always do. I-I always do it’ll be fine. Don-Don’t worry about me Cleo I-I’m good. Y-you go.”). She runs alone to and end portal as blocks start floating around her and jumps in. She finds herself in the end, as you’d expect. The portal back to the overworld is gone. 

Joe: the longer the episode goes on for, the more alarmed he seems, even if it’s subtle. He doesn’t trust Scar that much, but he gives him Diamond Hooves anyways. He asks what Cleo’s going to do. She says she was going to “bug out.” He assures her that he’ll be fine. He hadn’t actually formed much of a plan, just random beginnings of ones. When she leaves, he listens to X and Wels talk about their plans for a few seconds before making his decision. For the first time in season 8, he puts on an elytra and flies away. 

Keralis and Xb: they have 2 plans. Keralis’s space station, and Xb’s bunker. They have a room for each other in their builds and everything. Their back up plans are each other. They’re only depending on themselves and each other to get through the moon crashing. Despite both of them sounding like they want to stick together, they’re separate when the moon finally crashes. Xb’s safely inside his bunker. Keralis doesn’t get to his station in time. 

Rendoc: the viewers gave Doc what they found from the book him and Ren got from killing each other. Using the information, he built a portal, but no one knew how to activate it at first. Eventually, they figured it out. Eight observers, eight heads from their Octa-killing-spree. All they had to do was put a head on each observer. Doing so, during a thunderstorm of course, the portal burst with thunder, just like Power Node 1. (Renbob watches them from outside of the simulation as they start up the portal). They’re afraid of it, but they don’t want to stay in the simulation any longer. They jump in. 

Tango: he did it. He’s on the moon! ………..Bdubs sent him a message. It’s so glitchy it’s hard to hear what he’s saying. There are asteroids landing behind him. He sounds so panicked. He has to save the sever now……………………….his rocket blew up. Holsten’s gone. He still has people who need him. He set’s the tnt next to the crystals that Holsten said were gonna help. But of course, the stupid moon bunny had to set it off too early. Tango gets caught in the crossfire and it shoots him into space. 

X: finally, Evil x’s spell has finally been lifted. He’s even back to wearing his old suit again! The server isn’t looking very good though… he feels bad for everyone’s builds! Not to mention the blocks flying and the size of the moon. But thanks to the viewers he has a good plan. Just go to the nether! No earthquakes, no flying blocks, nothing is going on in the nether. Luckily, he makes it in time. 

Jevin: he gives Mashed Potato and Pickle to Scar, trusting him to keep them safe. They’ll be living in a cupboard for a while, but that’s okay. As long as they’re safe. From there, it’s simple. build a rocket. Head to space. Avoid the moon. 

Gem and False: they both know the bunker isn’t good enough. False reassures Gem, saying that the bunker is perfect. She’s lying. And she already has an escape plan. They both panic as they individually create their escapes. Gem with her deer and False with her bird. Gem sends Goose to Scar. When the flying blocks take away the option of her deer sleigh, Gem has a plan c. A portal made out of amethyst. Meanwhile, False flys away without the issues. 

Cub: he tried, nothing worked. He gives up on being a mooner and goes to bed. Even a few amethyst and daylight sensors have started to disappear by the time he decides to get going. All he has to do is have everything he needs in his inventory, wear full netherite armour, and shoot himself into space with a redstone machine. As simple and normal as a Cubfan can be.

predictably I’m still thinking about joe and cleo, saying goodbye to each other, some of the last people left on the server as everything ended. joe tries not to tell cleo that he doesn’t have much of a plan. she tells him he always shows up. he agrees. he tells her to go. they say goodbye. she does.

cleo escapes to the end—is trapped in the end. she escaped as she’d planned to; she’s alone, in a way she probably hadn’t planned.

joe—well, we don’t know what happened to him. he flew away, flying for the first time this season, really, and time skipped, and the world ended. and, for once, it was a time skip that we didn’t see the middle parts of. we don’t know what happened after he flew into the sky.

but cleo said that joe always turns up. joe agreed.
