You had just gotten out of the shower for the second time that day. You wanted to take full advantage of it. You, along with your friends Thomas, Winston, Fry Pan, Minho, Teresa, and your boyfriend Newt, were saved from the maze and brought to a facility. They provided you all with beds, food, showers, and new clothes.

You slipped on the gray leggings and pale pink shirt and walked back to where your bunk was. Well, Newt’s bunk. He was reading a book Jansen had given him per request. When you were visible to him, her turned his head to give you a glance before continuing to read. You walked up to his bunk and climbed into the bed with him. He shifted to let you lay on him in between his legs. You got comfortable, and he then placed his arms around you, book still in hand.

“What are you reading?” You asked. “The Princess Bride,” he replied, “would you like me to read it to you?” “Yeah” you answered, snuggling into him. He began to read aloud quietly, as the others were asleep. You began to doze off shortly after, and Newt noticed this. He kissed your head before speaking, “Goodnight, love” After that, you soon fell asleep in the beautiful boy’s arms.

Imagine: Thomas and you were at a party and some guy kept hitting on you and making you feel very uncomfortable.

Thomas is not a fighter and not one to start trouble but his anger was getting the best of him.

“Hey she said she’s not interested” Thomas spoke through a raised voice.

“Well I don’t really give a shit. Who are you supposed to be?” The creep retorted.

“Her boyfriend and I give a shit” Thomas was now directly in front of him and his voice is now almost yelling.

“Thomas he’s not even worth it lets just leave” you beg as you push your hand on his chest.

“Fine”

He put his arm around you and turned around keeping his hard gaze on the guy until the last second.

Newt and Thomas sauntered upon the cobbled pavement, burlap sacks of crammed newspapers, thumping their trousers. The pair plucked their newsboy caps in leisure.  

Lamplight illuminated the rocky pathway, leather soles clacking the cobblestone amongst the quietude within the gloomy Brooklyn street.

Thomas fumbled with his cotton vest, glimpsing at his friend. “So..how ‘bout them papes?” He queried within his Brooklyn lilt.

A smirk plastered Newt’s mouth, a cigar held between his pearly-white teeth. “Alby’s gonna have a bloody fit.” He puffed, smoke billowing from his pursed lips. “We barely sold any papes today.”

Thomas subtly nodded in confirmation, his warm gaze flickering the expanse of the desolate avenue with stars peppering the inky sky.
