Here It Goes!

here it goes!
so after a few modifications to the facade, i went and tried to be as accurate as i could to the insane floorplan of this house (the rule is : a room can never be a simple square haha).
as i want sims to be living here i took the liberty to add a kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as things for them to do apart from waiting for someone to come to their house to talk to, (like the chess board, the piano). Also a vanity and doll in capella's room, and an extra extra empty room as a future nursery 👀
now why is there the same blue tapestry on the walls everywhere? same thing in the game, when they don't know what to put on the walls of this house, they put this blue/purple curtain. it is a defensive way to say that yes i was lazy BUT it was game accurate haha.
also yeah yeah the lady on altar for the dead mother has a dark hair and victoria is supposed to be blond, but... i have more paintings with dark-haired women what can i say

Im buysexual, you buy me food, i become sexual
Working at the biggest Radio Station in France at the moment. Tonight a free concert was held in solidarity for Ukraine. (Before going any further, really wanted to add that I am ashamed of my country being so quick to open their arms to "good" white europeans refugees fleeing the conflict, but spitting in the face of any other POC seeking asylum for the same reason, and this fuckery is not lost on me. Now back to my story)
Most of the musicians invited were Ukrainians or Russians. Today during rehearsals, I sneaked in to peek a little. On stage, a pianist and a cellist, Dimitri Naïditch and Vladimir Chevel, both Ukrainians, were warming up on their instruments. Meanwhile in the back, a comical scene of two persons trying and failing to put letters spelling "Peace in Ukraine" was happening (for some reason, the letters would not stand still, especially the P who was always on the verge of falling down). But as soon as the two musicians started playing, everything stood still. They performed with great emotion a mesmerizing and haunting piece of music. Everyone stopped what they were doing to listen, even the letters remained in place. I had shivers. Everyone had. When I asked the pianist, what was this music, he said with a sad smile "Oh it's kind of an hymn talking about our beautiful city of Kyiv" The song is called Kyiv Mii (My Kyiv) and was composed by Ukrainian composer Igor Shamo. There is originally lyrics put on this piece, talking about the landscape of Kyiv, with the refrain exclaiming "How can I not love you my Kyiv". Although not the hymn of Ukraine, it is the unofficial hymn of Kyiv. Anyways, I did not have the opportunity to attend the two hours concert, seeing as I was working during it, but it was transmitted live on some channels and on Facebook, where I captured this particular piece of music with a logiciel. And well, I wanted to share it for anyone who would want to hear it, because it was just too beautiful to keep it to myself.
Thinking about anyone anywhere in the world who long to return home but can't because of war. I wish I could held you in my arms the way this music held me in its arms. As of right now, being a powerless nobody in France, that's the only thing I felt I could do. Have a great night

rouuuugh days are to come for me this week-end and the following week (intense work and mental health being a particulary vicious bitch this past mounth), so i came back to undonia for a sense of peace
