okay fucking this but also i have heard people ask mlm or nblm couples whos the woman soooo many times its so fucking gross and annoying fucking all of this post though ALL of it hets/cis people/allos/need to realize that the way they interact with relationships to other people or their gender is not default or necessary (ace exclusionists should note that i myself am allo and that they can go fuck themselves)

u know what really bothers me?

the constant need to make different relationships and identities imitate cis, allo and hetero identities.

it’s ~weird~ if an asexual never has sex, is totally sex repulsed, doesn’t want to casually discuss sex, doesn’t want to be in a sexual relationship. Sure, be asexual, but ‘normal people have sex’.

Aromantic people are weird if they don’t want a QPR, or friendships that ‘fufil’ the role of a relationship. Because heaven forbid that they actually don’t need a relationship similar to a ‘normal’ one, that what they want is OK even if it’s not normal.

Trans people who don’t follow stereotypes of their gender are considered 'trenders’, because they don’t look like the typical male/female/androgynous person.

Even the most classic example: 'who’s the man in a lesbian relationship?’

Why do our relationships have to imitate yours to be valid?
