The phoenix remained unmoved in the otherworldly presence of the daemon; alas, her twitching fingers betrayed her struggle not to crumble to the reality of his dense, overbearing reiatsu. A pregnant pause hung in the air as Momo Hinamori took note of her surroundings — here, there was no blood, no mortal struggle, no death; only absolute peace and serenity.  She chuckled.  ❝ Something about you. . . reminds me of HIM; the way you carefully pace each word, the way your reiatsu feels, the way your pleasantness hides an ever-present THREAT, much like a venus fly trap that lures in its prey. ❞

Oh, dear--something about her energy is so distant and familiar. As if from a fleeting day dream. Hardly even a dream's worth of recollective memoryy... The daemon was, after all, not as present in sentience last he cared to glimpse at the notoriety of her reiatsu. Energy is his first language, so to speak. Life energy.

But the flesh cast vessel simply hums to himself for the first moment of noting her presence properly. His otherworldly eyes are just as overwhelming in gaze as his abysmal reiatsu is in its very unpredictable, ever-present nature. "Me~?" The Hōgyoku echoes appropriately, a smooth smile curling the corners of his lips. "Am I interesting? I do wonder why that could be, shinigami. You'll tell me, won't you?"
