This world is just a canvas to our imagination. Everything you can imagine is real. .....It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.......What we wish, we readily believe, and what we ourselves think, we imagine others think also.

Françoise Hardy, one of the most famous French singers of the 1960s, die on 11 June 2024 at the age of 80.
But her music and influence live on. Numerous artists around the world are paying tribute to her and remembering her extraordinary career and personality.
Recognising her internationally
One foremost among those who honoured Françoise Hardy after her death was Graham Coxon, guitarist of the British band Blur. Graham described himself as lucky to have known her a little. In 1995, Blur invited Hardy to sing on the song "To The End". The collaboration remains unforgotten and shows the respect and admiration she received from international artists.
Similarly, Tim Burgess, lead singer of the band The Charlatans, said goodbye in the artist's native language. However, Hardy not only sang in French, but also in English, Italian and German. The artist's versatility and charisma helped her to build up a large fan base beyond the borders of France.
Multi-generational fascination
Even younger musicians, such as Greg Gonzalez from Cigarettes After Sex, were deeply impressed by Hardy. According to Gonzalez, he was deeply moved when listening to her album "La Question". This admiration was mutual, as Hardy himself emphasised in an interview with Le Figaro.
Impact on film and television
Hardy's inspiration was not limited to music - she also left her mark on cinema. The American actor Elijah Wood also honoured her, recalling her role in John Frankenheimer's 1966 film "Grand Prix" and her brief appearance in "Quoi de neuf, Pussycat?" alongside Romy Schneider and Peter O'Toole.

Aesthetically, Hardy was considered a style icon in the 1960s. "Of course, it helped that Hardy was tall and beautiful and also had a flair for style; fashion designers like Paco Rabanne were soon showering her with clothes". Hardy attended a reception at jeweller Clerc in May 1968 in a dress with rhodium sequins by Rabanne, which was considered the most expensive piece of clothing in the world. She wore a similar jumpsuit weighing around 35 kilograms by the fashion designer at a concert.
As a model, she stood in front of the camera for well-known visual artists such as David Bailey, Richard Avedon and William Klein.[8] The Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo later named her fashion label Comme des Garçons after Hardy's first hit.

Françoise Hardy wore dresses by couturier André Courrèges in Jean-Luc Godard's film Masculine - Feminine or: The Children of Marx and Coca-Cola.

First day at school
I feel something's wrong
Shaky legs and sticky hands
I'm in hell, this isn't going to work
Everyone thinks I'm strange
Everybody tells me
I've got to do something
I've got to change
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
I've got to keep my promises
Forget all the rumors
They all said about me
That I couldn't do it
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
Too often I wonder
I wonder how it all works
It all makes sense but I get panicky
In a flash, I lose my bearings (I lose my bearings)
Everyone thinks I'm strange
Everyone tells me
I've got to do something
I've got to change
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
I've got to keep my promises
Forget all the rumors
They all said about me
That I couldn't do it
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
La, la, la-la, la, la-la
I want to sing for the losers
La, la, la-la, la, la-la
I know the song by heart
That's just the way I am
I won't change
I've said it twice
But I'm gonna shut 'em all up
Quietly, gently
I've got to keep my promises
Forget all the rumors
They all said about me
That I couldn't do it
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
La, la, la-la, la, la-la
I want to sing for the losers
La, la, la-la, la, la-la
I know the song by heart
I'm just like that, I'm not changing (la, la, la-la, la, la-la)
I won't change
I'll say it one more time (la, la, la-la, la, la-la)
But I'll shut them all up
Quietly, gently
Vision
Première journée à l'école
J'sens qu'y a un truc qui déconne
Jambes qui tremblent et mains qui collent
J'suis en enfer, ça va pas l'faire
Tout l'monde me trouve étrange
Tout l'monde me dit
Trop souvent, je me questionne
J'me demande comment tout ça fonctionne
Tout s'explique mais je m'affole
En un éclair, j'perds mes repères (j'perds mes repères)
Tout l'monde me trouve étrange
Tout l'monde me dit
I feel something's wrong.

Somehow we all realized it with horror when the orange hair man came true by an intergalactic stupid coincidence which was on the verge of impossibility and announced as president in a press conference he wanted to test whether let's say it nicely: a kind of chemical detergent could also be used against the pandemic.
That was the ultimate revelation of senselessness.
Even dumb asses should have seen the light from then on, unless they are completely stupid.

Well, Georg stupid remains stupid, no pills help, but you should never stop bringing the less well-off closer to knowledge.
SRSNPH!
stupid remains stupid, no pills help.

Oh bloody hell, now the stupid bastards are getting angry again and putting on their red hats. The favorite fan article from the fan store of their cult leader and get out the victim cards.

Empires rise and fall.... as long as human civilisation exists.
What exists today will be history tomorrow.

You first become aware of this when you have lived in a phase of civilisation upheaval. Rarely does this happen without a sound, but usually after massive preliminary events that herald the upheaval.
May you live in a quiet time and even that is in your hands because those who remain silent agree.
