“I overheard you refuse Falin’s healing,” Chilchuck finally looked up to meet his eyes “But when I saw how irritated your leg had gotten, I knew I had to try something even if I wasn't sure you’d accept my help either.”
There's something nice about the idea of taking care of someone once more.

Chilchuck narrows his eyes up at the other man, a grimace tugging at his lips. He still hasn’t quite managed to figure Laios out, despite having traveled into the dungeon with him and his party twice before establishing their year-long contract. He’d been given no reason to distrust the tall-man- or any of the Touden party, really. He wouldn’t have agreed to work with them again if he had. He really, truly, doesn’t dislike Laios, but he’s still an enigma if Chilchuck has ever met one. Laios approaches interacting with other people as if he wants to, desperately, but doesn’t quite know how- and maybe he doesn’t.
…Which is, perhaps, why Chilchuck, instead of spitting out an immediate refusal like he would have done with many of his previous bosses, huffs out a begrudging, “Sure.”
