Here’s a sequel that I’ve had in the works for a while! It fought me, but I think it came out well.

Surprise! The situation that was haunting me cleared up and I blitzed my way through finishing this up in celebration! I’m also close to finishing some other projects that have been in the works for a while, so I’m hoping to have them done soon!

I’m on a roll with writing recently and this was inspired by a work I stumbled across on Ao3 (the work I put as the inspo fic) that I definitely recommend reading as well! This is my first attempt at proper Ao3 formatting as well, so sorry if anything seems janky.

I think I’ve cracked why g/t resonates so hard for me.

It’s the feeling of being powerless and small, unable to control anything but still having this being larger than life looking at you, caring about your opinions and thoughts. A lot of my stuff has a running theme of being really heavy handed with the idea of the tiny having choice because that’s what makes g/t to me. The concern about what such an insignificant thing feels and the efforts to treat them kindly and with decency despite them literally fitting in the palm of a hand just melts me every time.
