Worm really is one of those things that fundamentallyrics changes how you think about stories after you read it

The problem is that trigger events are plainly good as a concept and generally executed well in story. & that makes me see other fiction and go "oh so like a trigger event" all the time + makes me just want to yoink it myself in my own stuff also. it's a toughie
