ouuuu..... this is a funny one I feel like mine would be something with depth, but some kind of simplicity to it- I personally really like pecan pie a lot and honestly i think that works as well- the taste is overall very simple, but you can add a lot to it to make it unique and well-rounded.... along with the actual pecans on top, which adds a little pop of a different flavour........ yeahhhhhhhh pecan pie. i'm making myself hungry

if you're new to tumblr and don't know what reblogs do, I'll clarify under the cut!

Reblogs are basically what upvotes are on Reddit! A way to spread that post with more people.

Reblogs are essential to Tumblr as a culture, because without it all those posts you could really like never really get around!

In fact, in a poll (That I also participated in) it was proven that reblogs are important. The question was this; "how did you see this poll?" The three options below it being "someone I followed reblogged it", "it was on my dash" and "I found it from your blog".

"Someone I followed reblogged it" won by a LANDSLIDE. It wasnt even an argument at that point, REBLOGS ARE ESSENTIAL TO TUMBLR AS A WHOLE!

Likes are basically just there to put stuff in a single "likes" folder for you- they don't do anything for the "algorithm" over here.

Some positivity in these turbulent AI times

*This does not minimize the crisis at hand, but is aimed at easing any anxieties.

With every social media selling our data to AI companies now, there is very little way to avoid being scraped. The sad thing is many of us still NEED social media to advertise ourselves and get seen by clients. I can't help but feeling that we as artists are not at risk of losing our livelihoods, here is why:

Just because your data is available does not mean that AI companies will/want to use it. Your work may never end up being scraped at all.

The possibility of someone who uses AI art prompts can replace you (if your work is scraped) is very unlikely. Art Directors and clients HAVE to work with people, the person using AI art cannot back up what a machine made. Their final product for a client will never be substantial since AI prompts cannot be consistent with use and edits requested will be impossible.

AI creators will NEVER be able to make a move unless us artists make a move first. They will always be behind in the industry.

AI creators lack the fundamental skills of art and therefore cannot detect when something looks off in a composition. Many professional artists like me get hired repeatedly for a reason! WE as artists know what we're doing.

The art community is close-knit and can fund itself. Look at furry commissions, Patreon, art conventions, Hollywood. Real art will always be able to make money and find an audience because it's how we communicate as a species.

AI creators lack the passion and ambition to make a career out of AI prompts. Not that they couldn't start drawing at any time, but these tend to be the people who don't enjoy creating art to begin with.

There is no story or personal experience that can be shared about AI prompts so paying customers will lose interest quickly.

Art is needed to help advance society along, history says so. To do that, companies will need to hire artists (music, architecture, photography, design, etc). The best way for us artists to keep fighting for our voice to be heard right now is staying visible. Do not hide or give in! That is what they want. Continue posting online and/or in person and sharing your art with the world. It takes a community and we need you!

from what I've heard as well, if someone reblogs your post and they dont have this turned on, the Ai can still scrape it off their account.

PLEASE turn this on if you reblog and support artists on here! We need to stop AI from going any further than it has already.

They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

Teehee.. more of my audience sona for @hootbon's TADC Freakshow au!! Some fun little information about them below...

Their name will probably be Grudge!! As per their name, they hold some pretty heavy grudges against the actors in the show, usually regarding changes in the acts. The photo above shows them satisfied with the show, not angry at all!

While this one- something was wrong about the act to them. Who messed up? Probably the newbie.

Apart from that, Grudges antlers are forever-extending, there's never any end to them, twisting and curling unnaturally for as far as the eye can see. Due to this they constantly get shoved to the back of the tent so others can see through their antlers and they aren't blocking anyone-

This also means that they can't see the acts as well and they can't notice all those tiny mistakes the actors make, so they're less likely to become aggressive.

Anyways that's really all about them!! This was a really fun concept to work with.. uhh yeah!!
