I Love The Found Family Trope As Much As Anyone (which Is A Lot) But No Other Trope Breaks My Heart As
I love the “found family” trope as much as anyone (which is a lot) but no other trope breaks my heart as much as “lost family”. Characters who grew up together and who loved each other as family are separated by x or y reasons and the universe can’t seem to let them reunite. They both think the other one has forgotten about them/ hates them and they want to go back to how they were but it seems impossible to them. It’s so heartbreaking and genuinely makes me cry uncontrollably.

as much as i love the romance between cardan and jude, i wish more people would discuss the relationship between jude and madoc
at the beginning of the series jude says that despite everything, she loves madoc, it’s just an uncomfortable form of love
i just think their relationship is so interesting to explore and creates a whole debate of nature vs nurture and if madoc was a good father figure or not

At this point i’m convinced Taylor Swift read ACOTAR? and uses it as inspiration for her songs.
You’re telling me “Speak Now” is not based on the wedding scene?
“You’re loosing me” describes how Feyre feels about Tamlin at the beginning of ACOMAF while “Would’ve, Could’ve Should’ve” is what she thinks of him once she decides to stay at the Night Court for good.
The “You never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs” part in exile shows both of their points of view.
“Slut!” is 100% about Feyre and Rhysand’s a trip to the court of nightmares.
I am also completely convinced “Enchanted” is from Rhysand’s point of view when he first met Feyre.
I have more examples but I’d be here all day
my biggest flex is that I was team Warner from the beginning. It may have something to do with the trust issues SJM has given me, but from the first interaction he had with Juliette I could tell that man was WHIPPED. The man had mi kicking my feet a few pages into the book while Adam was just…there.
#i miss my crows
Leigh Bardugo could write 13 books with the Crows as the main characters doing absolutely NOTHING with no real plot other than them hanging out and bickering with each other–and i would buy and rate 5 stars every single one of them.
