Giving Support For The Work Of The Ministry Is A Vitally Important Responsibility. Ask Yourself Though

Giving support for the work of the ministry is a vitally important responsibility. Ask yourself though - when the plate is passed on Sunday morning and you drop in that offering, what is your honest motivation?
If you think that it is a way of helping your church or favorite ministry while also getting a tax deduction to boot, THINK AGAIN! God is not interested in your money, but your heart. In fact, when you give to gain your offering is an abomination to Him, because He is much more interested in honouring and obeying Him than your booty of sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)
The Bible promises blessing to those that give out of a grateful and honest heart, so when 'Funding In Faith' there is a blessing promised to the giver. Now keep in mind that this is NOT a 'Give To Gain' scheme, and just because you give does not mean a tit-for-tat recompense from heaven of showered wealth. God blesses in many different ways so when we give out of a pure heart, His blessings manifest often in ways we never anticipated or expected!
So give without looking at how it may or may not affect the bottom line of your 1040 tax form. Give instead as God leads you in your spirit, not based on if it is 'tax deductible.' It will not only help others, but you’ll help yourself in ways you will never see coming.

Have you ever wondered how Jesus bore his horrible torture before death on the cross? Roman flogging was almost as horrible as crucifixion, causing the vanquished to lose consciousness or even die. And then after his torture he still had the strength to carry his cross where huge nine inch nails pierced his wrists and feet. Even so while he never committed a single sin or broke any law, he then hung humiliated and naked on the cross and took on all the sins of everyone that would ever live in the world. Will you and I ever fully comprehend this?
It is a divine miracle and by the power of God that Jesus not only survived this heinous inhumanness, but submitted himself to it! It could have been so easy for Him to defy every one of His accusers and send them all to hell, but this was not the reason He bore it all. He did it to SAVE US, because He was the only One who could!!!
Isaiah prophesied that this event and all that took place up to it would happen at an ordained time writing:
“Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows… He was pierced for our transgression, He was crushed for our iniquities; The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and By His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5
Wrap your mind and heart around this amazing “Love” Jesus has for you and thank him, Thank Him, THANK HIM!!! You can never Thank Him enough.
My friend, if you haven’t known the love of Jesus and His Forgiveness you are missing so much!! Won’t you ask Him to come into your heart right now and receive the sacrifice He made for you on the Cross? Don’t put Him off!! No one in all this world loves you and knows you more than He does. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and with all your heart and He will transform your life so that you can live in His beautiful heaven and to make a place for you. If you pray this prayer, Jesus will come into your heart right now and you will never be the same. Your life will be full and so blessed. He will guide and direct you. Thank Him for saving you!

We’ve all seen a police drama where a criminal is brought into an interrogation room with the hope that he’ll admit to the crime he committed. After hours of questioning and presenting evidence of wrongdoing, one of two things would happen. Either he’d adamantly continue to DENY that he was not at fault or finally break down and CONFESS that he was guilty.
The word “Confess” has an interesting etymological origin in that it is composed of two words of “con” meaning 'with' and “fateri” meaning 'acknowledge, know, declare or admit the validity of' something. So when we confess we are saying that what we have done is wrong
As today’s verse tells us, we need to admit — that is CONFESS — before God that we are guilty of our sins, and for certain we ALL are guilty of something! However, unlike those that admit their crimes to the police will certainly go to PRISON, those that confess their crimes before God with a contrite heart go to ETERNAL LIFE because Romans 10:10 promises us that “with the mouth (your) confession is made (becomes your) salvation.”
At this point your CON-fession then becomes your PRO-fession, because just as Christ declares you before the Father:
“Whosoever therefore shall CONFESS me before men, Him will I CONFESS also before My Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32
Likewise as a result of our CONFESSION, “let us (likewise) hold fast our profession (of faith)” [ Hebrews 4:14) ] When you do that, you the will go from CONFESSION TO PROFESSION not just before God, but also before others.
When it comes to YOUR standing before God and the world, are you CONFESSING or DENYING to Christ in your life?

Being ecologically responsible is good, and the Bible teaches this in Genesis that we are to be good stewards of the earth. Pollution in many forms has poisoned what was once a pristine earth with plastics in the seas, radiation in the oceans, and smog in the air. The sad fact is that try as we might, many different types of pollution have stained the earth, and in some cases it is not reversible. In fact a recent TED talk mentioned that while recycling is a good thing it will not save the planet. Help YES - Save NO.
Spiritually there is a prophetic parallel here. Like the earth, every person that has ever lived has also been polluted. Also try as we might, we cannot remove the stain called SIN on our souls, but here is the good news (literally the meaning of the word “gospel”) - there IS a way that it can be removed. The prophet Isaiah showed us the solution:
“...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18
If you have never really understood the amazing good news of the Gospel message, here it is in a nutshell:
Jesus Christ came to this earth to Wash away the stain of pollution embedded in us and Make everyone’s soul “white as snow” again. All you need do is SAY that with your MOUTH and BELIEVE it in your HEART
Friend if you have read this far and not asked for your sin to be taken away, what are you waiting for?
If the planet is worth saving, are YOU not worth saving too??

A judgement is a verdict rendered by a judge, and today’s verse is a preview of that coming moment when we all shall stand before the heavenly judge at the end of life, but here’s the twist – before you reach that point YOU can determine the verdict beforehand! Here is how and why - and the key is hidden in the definition of the word of the underlying Greek text word translated as“JUDGEMENT”.
In the original language the word judgement is κρίσις which when transliterated into English it is the word CRISIS. While the popular definition of this word is “a time of intense difficulty, trouble, or danger” the secondary definition is more appropriately is “the turning point of a disease when an important change takes place, indicating either recovery or death.”
That disease we all have is SIN and that sure recovery comes when we confess the atoning power of the Blood of the Saviour to deliver us from our sins and unrighteousness. Just as a doctor administers a life-saving medicine to a dying patient at a critical moment, when you allow the Great Physician to apply His healing balm of forgiveness, you move out of CRISIS into the Wholeness of HOLINESS.
Sadly as some people wait too late to seek medical healing and their body dies from disease, many wait too long to seek the cure for their spirit which will lead to their spirit’s SECOND DEATH in eternity.
Here is the good news though! You can circumvent crisis and be AQUITTED, receive a reprieve and step out from under the gavel of judgement. As always, that choice is up to you, but beware!! Make that decision before the end of your life and before you are summoned to stand in that place of CRISIS.

Have you ever been on a road that seems like it will go on forever? Life is sometimes like that in that it gives us the illusion that it will never end, however the reality is that all of our roads will eventually lead to a DEAD END unless we turn around and take another route.
Jesus said that “Wide is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” and as today’s picture shows, as enticing and as easy as it is to flow down this wide road, it always leads to a tragic dead end.
Fortunately, there is a sign along all mileposts of this road informing you that it is OK to turn-around at any time and make a U-Turn. If you have read thus far, this is one of those signs!
In the Bible, the word REPENT means to 'Change One’s Mind.' It is never too late to admit your mistakes, change your mind about who God is and agree with Him and get on the road that leads to Him and ETERNAL LIFE, and not continue down the road to destruction and ETERNAL DEATH.
Are you happy and confident where your 'Road Of Life' is leading you?
