Bookends | Gia & Kelly
A black leather jacket topped a crushed silk shirt, itself sporting a generous sheer stripe down the center that ran from neck to navel. Her pants were tight, topped by leather boots. She wore half a dozen different bracelets on her left arm and gold crosses for earrings, set off by the dramatic backdrop of her lustrous chocolate hair. In short, Gia Desstrin hadn’t dressed for a library. Without a word, Gia walked up to the counter behind which Kelly sat, turned around, and jumped up to sit on the desk. Arching her brows, she glanced over her shoulder at Kelly, mischief glittering in her eyes. There was a good chance Kelly was intoxicated. “You’re beautiful,” were her opening lines. Chuckling to herself, Gia slid her legs around, now sitting perpendicular to Kelly, and stretched her legs out in front of her. “You should be showing that off. I could do your makeup…and your hair…and your clothes.” She frowned deeply, “You get that you could totally rock the sexy librarian thing, right? I tell you what, guys in this town would be lining up to read like nobody’s business.” Gia tilted her head towards Kelly. “How about it? I bet you’d have waaay more fun, huh? Let’s bounce!”

Head Bitch In Bar | Gia & Vera
As usual Fangtopia was bustling. Humans drifted into corners with vampires, vampires found others of their kind, humans grouped to gawk...and then there was Gia. The werewolf smirked, watching the others bustle about. She knew that the species usually didn't all get along, but 'usually' had never stopped Gia before. She didn't care what other people did; that isn't what life was about in her mind. Gia pushed her way through the sweaty, gyrating bodies, up towards the bar. "Hi, Vera." Gia raised a hand, waving with her fingers carelessly. Smirking, she plopped herself into one of the stools. "Shots!" she exclaimed. "Have one with me?" Her intent had been to get Vera out of this tiresome bar, but she never was quite sure if Vera was available to go and, in any case, she always liked to get one for the road. She had come to a bar. Why the hell not? "Your Maker here?" she asked, tilting her head. "Because it has been waaaay too long since you've seen the outside of this place." She paused. "And don't worry, the sun's gone down." To Gia, it seemed that the weres and vamps ought to work something out. Afterall, who else understood better what it was like to have your life dictated by some huge orb in the sky? Sure, vamps might have to avoid the sun and weres might have to go wolf when the moon was full, but in the scheme of things, that wasn't so different. "I was hoping we could tear up the town."
Gia's grin lit up her face as she leaned across the bar towards him. Her brows rose mischeivously. "Most definitely not," she teased, winking as her fingers twined around the drink. "Let's find out! You promise to dance with me once your shift's over?" she asked, narrowing her eyes playfully. "Not that I'd wait for you to actually agree," she joked, shrugging. Gia lived her entire life as if it were one huge joke...and Gia wasn't entirely sure it wasn't some cosmic prank. She tilted her head, eyes dipping towards her drink. It was felt cold and real against her fingertips, bringing a bright smile to her lips. "Don't tell anyone I said this," she remarked, suddenly sounding conspiratorial as her eyes danced. "But you're definitely my favorite bartender." Giggling, she shifted in her seat, glancing around the bar, towards all the bodies that writhed around them, towards arms cutting in to grab a drink before disappearing into the swarm. She smirked. It was no secret that Jaden was her best friend but she liked to joke about that, as she did about everything. "Also, be prepared, as soon as you get off, I'm going to ask you every intrusively personal question I can think of," which was her way of saying 'how's it going?
