Gia's brows arched, a smirk stretched across her lips. "If there's nothing to it, why are you so defensive about it, Williams?" she teased, sinking into the seat opposite him. Twin Moons was one of Gia's favorite spots. No matter what, she was surrounded by her makeshift Were family, and regardless, she had drinks near at hand...especially now as Blaize slid a placatingly cold one across towards her. "Ooooh, clever boy. Plying me with drinks!" she teased. "Don't think that'll get you out of it. I can't even express to you how genuine she was. That picture? Totally candid! Trust me, she was completely unprepared, poor thing." Gia chuckled softly. "But," she added, whipping out her phone to show him the image again. "Look at that face. Look at that face and tell me she's no good and you don't care." She paused, her fingers wrapping around the cool stem of her glass as she raised it towards her lips. It washed down her throat, cold and refreshing, and Gia was silent for a moment before she launched into the primary aspect of her speech. "Look, she totally screwed you over. Believe me, I know how terrible that feels and I would never ask you to forgive that if I didn't think she was genuinely sorry. But I firmly believe that she is. You don't come back if you aren't. And, I know, it's for her aunt...but, Blaize...She's still the same girl you used to know." She shrugged. "What do you think? I know you insist there's nothing there, and that's fine. But before either of us being right or wrong...She's your friend. Are you still hers?" This time, when Gia fell quiet, her eyes gleamed. "And don't think I didn't hear what you said. You knew she was back. You totally met up with her! Come on, spill! I can see it in your eyes, so don't bother denying it. Was it arranged? Did she go to your house? Did you meet by chance? Tell me all about it!"

Won't Say I'm In Love || Gia & Blaize (closed)

Blaize had been on his guard. Ever since he’d gotten the text (and picture) from Gia that she’d finally seen Lilly, Blaize had been ready. He knew it was coming. Even if Blaize had spent the last six years trying to move on from Lilly, Gia had always been their biggest fan girl. And honestly, though she’d helped him through losing Lilly, he didn’t know if she’d ever stopped rooting for them. And judging by her immediately texting him upon seeing Lilly, he was guessing he was right.

And so, he sat at Twin Moon, sipping on a beer and waiting for the shoe to fall. The calm that he liked to surround himself in was hard to find here at Twin Moon; but it was also the place that he felt most at home. Surrounded by his own kind.

And whatever little peace he’d had was shattered when he heard Gia calling out his name. He looked up and watched her practically toss people out of the way to get to him. And when she finally reached his table, he held up his hand just as she opened her mouth to speak. “No, I haven’t been avoiding you; yes, I got your text; yes, I knew she was back; and no, this doesn’t mean that your fabled tale of us being together is coming true,” he said, answering every question he knew she’d pose to him before she could even do so.

He waved to a drink that was sitting on the table with his beer, “I went ahead and ordered you a drink if you’d like to sit down and make whatever case I know you’re working up in your head.” He smiled playfully up at his fellow wolf and best friend.

Bookends | Gia & Kelly

A black leather jacket topped a crushed silk shirt, itself sporting a generous sheer stripe down the center that ran from neck to navel. Her pants were tight, topped by leather boots. She wore half a dozen different bracelets on her left arm and gold crosses for earrings, set off by the dramatic backdrop of her lustrous chocolate hair. In short, Gia Desstrin hadn’t dressed for a library. Without a word, Gia walked up to the counter behind which Kelly sat, turned around, and jumped up to sit on the desk. Arching her brows, she glanced over her shoulder at Kelly, mischief glittering in her eyes. There was a good chance Kelly was intoxicated. “You’re beautiful,” were her opening lines. Chuckling to herself, Gia slid her legs around, now sitting perpendicular to Kelly, and stretched her legs out in front of her. “You should be showing that off. I could do your makeup…and your hair…and your clothes.” She frowned deeply, “You get that you could totally rock the sexy librarian thing, right? I tell you what, guys in this town would be lining up to read like nobody’s business.” Gia tilted her head towards Kelly. “How about it? I bet you’d have waaay more fun, huh? Let’s bounce!”

Gia giggled brightly, her dark eyebrows shooting upwards at the sound of Kelly's unenthusiastic greeting. "Oh," she repeated, delightedly, slapping her knee before titling her head towards Kelly. "What are you reading?" Gia reached for the volume as Kelly stuffed a bookmark in place. Letting her hand drop, her smirked. "The Void? That sounds sexy," she laughed, almost certainly intoxicated. "Ok, so what's your most-popular-book of the season? If it's Twilight, I will probably be hosting a bonfire at my place tonight. Bring all your copies." Gia had found New Moon personally offensive. Gia wasn't generally much of a YA book reader, but when werewolves-in-fiction soared into public view, even she had to break down and read a copy. Safe to say, she hadn't finished it. "Of course it is!" exclaimed Gia. "But why limit yourself? You could have a big brain and big boobs and a bit butt!" She slapped a hand over her mouth, laughing, when she remembered that she was practically shouting this in a library. "Whoops!" She shrugged. "Why don't you come to my place? I can hook you up. If nothing else, I can straighten your hair for you, get you a slightly better fitting sweater and a sweet pair of earrings. Nothing too slutty, if that's not what makes you comfortable...even if you could totally rock it, because you could. But, what's important is that you feel sexy, whatever you're wearing!"

Bookends | Gia & Kelly

Kelly was a dutiful worker. In school, she turned assignments in by their due date. While working as a youth counselor at summer camps as a teenager, she always showed up on time. She did her taxes well before April. Most days at the library, Kelly kept herself busy all day long shelving, taping damaged pages, organizing new displays, and helping lead bashful men and women to the shelf housing "50 Shades of Grey". This afternoon while sorting through the turn-in drop box, however, she had been enticed by a dystopic space thriller called "The Void"; she was on page 48 when Gia popped onto the counter.

"How can I help you?" She blubbered, shutting the book on her thumb a bit harder than her nerves would have liked. Kelly's eyes shot up to see not a nine year old kid looking for the Magic Tree House Series, but instead Gia (naturally in leather) sitting on her counter. "Oh," her voice fell flat.

Kelly ran her fingers through her curly brown hair and then proceeded to defensively throw it up into a pony tail as if to keep it safe from Gia's meddling hands. "Intelligence is sexy, Gia." She squished her lips to one side of her face and furrowed her brows before shoving a bookmark in "The Void" and continuing her sorting of the turned-in books as if she were too busy for Gia's makeover.

Brows lifting ever so slightly, an amused expression glittered in her eyes as the she-wolf cast a quick glance at the startled and awed faces surrounding her. "Mr. Demille, I'm ready for my close up," she told the closest gawker, who frowned and scurried off. Eyes sliding back towards the vampire, Gia stepped up onto the dais with a small shrug and assumed the proffered seat. Admittedly, this was the last thing Gia had expected to happen tonight. She'd planned for some measure of adventure, given that the night would include both Vera and Fangtopia...but only one part of that had come true. None of that had ever stopped Gia, however. She believed in taking life as it came and, besides, she knew a thing or two about power, even if it wasn't something that had ever fully been her own. But, in any case, being invited to stay - and on the vampire's own throne-like area - was definitely not in the plan for tonight...Not that she was complaining. "You must have an amazing view up there," she commented, eyes scanning the crowd. "The one I've got is pretty interesting." Gia smiled softly towards the vampire but his eyes betrayed nothing of what might be flitting through the ancient skull of his. It wasn't so very far up and yet, she felt as if she could see everyone there - when the flashing lights weren't against her - and they were getting up to some rather wild exploits. No shock there. Absently, Gia tried to remember what she'd been told about Kol Svansson, but came to the rapid realization it wasn't much to go on. He was a vampire, a Viking, and older than any of the buildings in this part of the world. She suddenly wondered if life must seem excessively dull, after awhile. "I hope you don't have to sit here, every night," she commented. "That would suck," Gia frowned. "No pun intended..." Gia rolled her eyes at herself. Smooth. Chuckling softly, she shook her head. "Fair warning, I do make alot of puns." Her eyes gleamed with amusement, already anticipating the same kind of irritation or resignation most people generally used to greet this kind of statement.
