All the pretty underwater maps are due to how much they are in awe of it [aquarium/all the underwater maps] or even find it comforting. like they feel safe and wish they could stay in it even if it locked them out of land [beast effect coming from a trap. it scares away other npcs and they feel stronger/more secure with it maybe??]

But they also had a traumatic experience and nearly drowned [pool event, drowning event ofc] so they're also scared of it?
