Was thinking about the Reflection event and how the reflection only appears if you have either no effects or the scissors, anything else makes it go away.

If you take the upside-down effect to be seeing npcs as they truly are, then the lack of reflection could mean Tatsuki’s view of themself is completely off from reality, or that they refuse to accept themself to the point of not even looking at themself. There’s also the way the reflection shakes their head if you try to interact with them without any effect, personally feel like gives off “this isn’t it” vibes.

of course there’s always the possibility that it being upside-down means it represents tatsuki’s warped view of things; makes the upside-down event really open to intepretation huh

The only time aside from effectless the reflection appears is when Tatsuki possesses the ability to kill things.

In other words, Tatsuki only sees themselves as something they want to destroy
