After Tatsuki isolates themself and essentially disappears Kubi starts to miss them and even feel guilt. Even after everything she's done, from constant verbal abuse to being rough and dismissive of their own problems [she winces at the times she caught a glance at their wrists before they frantically rolled down sleeves], there were even times she emotionally manipulated them into feeling trapped and alone as a means of controlling them, Tatsuki had always been kind to her. Anytime she was hurt they tried to help, and they somehow knew when it was best to wordlessly provide company. The more she reflects the more it sinks in just how horrible she's been.

She hangs out at the park the two used to meet up at, partially out of reminisce and partially from a small hope that someday they'd show up again and she'd have a chance to do better.

Tatsuki's mind is often elsewhere which results in them not paying attention and constantly breaking or dropping things, especially glass stuff. Thus people often percieve them as clumsy and stupid. Kubinashiko/chaser girl mocks them constantly for this, and even thinks they're somewhat annoying for it.

Then one day she scrapes her knee or something and Tatsuki is the one to notice and help with wound care. She initially wants them to just go away given reputation, but ends up being shocked at how careful and gentle they are.

Unfortunately this causes a toxic possessiveness where she still puts them down constantly yet wants to be the only one close to them, purposely isolating Tats and cutting off others that want to be friends with them. They're and airhead, but she wants them to be hers.
