i know ultimately that an idea in scott’s head probably barely loosely exists and that he does this beating around the bush shit because he feels all good about making us be “creative” but i feel like i’m the only one that finds that so incredibly unsatisfying,, like,, not because i don’t love the idea of several correct answers and interpretations of a base story (cuz trust me, ik i can’t be completely correct because i didn’t make the goddamn games.) but because not only does he forget that this fanbase lacks the maturity (including me at times) to deal with that and people get MEAN AS FUCK if you say anything that contradicts anything of substance rather than stupid meaningless details, but it also makes the entire story feel badly executed at times,, like we literally have an afton kid who we don’t even know his goddamn name because *creativity.* idk sometimes it’s just incredibly frustrating
