Maybe I’m just a hater but how come the live action Minecraft movie is gonna be about modern day kids going to Minecraft world making cynical quips and one liners and memes and not the melancholic loneliness of Steve in a damaged but recovering world
Why do we constantly have to have “humans get transported to another world” storylines when it comes to live action adaptations? Why can’t it just be in-media-res? Why can’t the Minecraft movie follow the novelization where a guy randomly awakens in Minecraft with no idea who he is and just needs to learn how to survive… you know… LIKE HOW THE GAME IS. Why do we gotta bring people from outside the game world into Minecraft? Why do they look human but everything else is a CGI nightmare? You couldn’t pull a Detective Pikachu and just set your god damn plot IN Minecraft from the start?
And most importantly …
WHY CAN’T THE WHOLE MOVIE JUST BE ANIMATED? You’re already animating like 95% of the film already, just fucking make an animated film.
The Lego Movie was made by people who love Lego. The Minecraft Movie was made by people who love money.
We have got to bully the minecraft movie like we did the original sonic movie design. Maybe this will fix it

This is the game they made a brain rot movie of and it is kinda sad seeing such a big piece of nostalgia turned into something that is clearly not geared towards the age group who was raised with it. They could’ve made something so beautiful and at least tried to replicate that magical feeling of being a kid and discovering/learning everything this game has to offer whilst the soft music plays in the background.

I know of a plant that would be PERFECT for the Pale Gardens biome that is coming up in Minecraft.
The Ghost Plant
This plant would fit in perfectly with the pale gardens, and the best part about it is that it turns dark black a while after being plucked!
I think that is awesome, and on top of that, bees visit them for pollen! Making it easy to incorporate with the other flowers.
Since it feeds off fungi, it can grow in dark places, making it an amazing fit for the Pale Gardens.

Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. Chat they made it into a joke

i don't think enough people are talking about logan's line in the honda odyssey right before they start fighting when he says "and they'll take fucking anyone" about the xmen. he's not taking a jab at the other xmen, he's taking a jab at himself.
the rest of this movie is just wade somehow managing to show logan that he matters and isn't the horrible person he has convinced himself he is. and somehow, it actually works.
