These are unused background drawings for those Ducktales character cards everyone makes..

I remember being so indecisive about what expressions and poses to go for, it was a pain- And I hated making those Ducktales character cards, they looked very good but they were a heck of a pain to create-

At least for me, they have plenty of little details to them that take forever- ESPECIALLY the font. I admire anyone who makes them- At some point I just gave up on it.

Well...well...well... It's been a while.. hasn't it?

Would you look at that. As much as I thought about writing this I still don't know what exactly I should write.. or better to say, where I should start from.

Anyways, the main thing I want to say is, that after a very long time of not being online (a kind of... very long, unannounced hiatus I would say), I am back. What happened? Why weren't you online? Is the question someone out there that maybe even remembers me would ask. Well... It's kind of a long story.. but, since I know no one would be interested in reading the whole thing, I'm just gonna keep it.. very short.

Basically, I tried to figure things out. That's it. The most basic explanation I can give you.

So... what now?

Well, I'm going to post here and there, whenever I have the time or whenever I feel like it. I do have quite a bunch of ideas that I want to share with people on here and I can't wait to do that once again! :D

Doki Doki Cartoon Club AU! (A Cartoons in Danganronpa AU)

So, while watching one of Cheesy Bastards streams on YouTube, someone made a "CiDR but its Ddlc" comment. And everyone thought it sounds like fun. Even Cheesy (the creator of CiDR) got a little laugh out of it. And since the moment I saw that, I thought: Hey, it does sound like fun. I wonder if anyone is going to make an actual au out of-

So yeah, I spend the last month trying to figure everything out and here we are with sprite edits and some info about it.

Although I am proud of how the sprites turned out, there is still some stuff that I want to fix, so these are not completely done yet.

Let's start with the idea I had for this au.

[EDIT: THIS INFO IS OUTDATED! DON'T TAKE IT INTO CONSIDERATION!]

So... You know in Danganrompa when you can play someone's free time event and get like a special hidden event out of it? Like.. When Rantaro painted Kaedes nails in V3 or when the D2 girls were baking together??

That's what I had in mind for this AU.

Dipper decides to spend his free time events with Gaz. This is like.. The 2nd or 3rd time by now. Gaz is playing her game, not wanting to be bothered, but Dipper feels uncomfortable in the silence between them and decides to somehow start a conversation. He asks her random questions, only getting short answers as Gaz gets more and more angry. (Which he is somehow oblivious to.) For the last question he asks: "So.. Did you find anything while investigating?" Gaz, who is about to punch him in the face, stops, gets up, and goes to a shelf in her ultimate lab to get a game from it. She says how this game is different from all of the other ones she has here, and hands it to Dipper.

Dipper turns it around, looks at the colorful pink cover, that has the title:

"Doki Doki Cartoon Club" written on it.

And yeah, that's a rough intro of what I had in mind. After that he basically plays the game in order to investigate it, because it might have some clues, who knows.

And now for the characters in the game itself, what are the ideas I have for them right now and why I even picked them.

Charlotte

-The only good options I had for Sayori were Bubbles, Mabel, Star and Charlotte. I can't choose Bubbles because Blossom already has her role set in stone, and I need all of them to just be friends. Since Dipper is playing the game, he is kind of the MC, so I think anyone with a sane mind would understand why it would be bad if Mabel would be seen as his love interest. And for Star.. Idk I just think Charlotte fits better than Star.

-Her personality is pretty much the same, since she's similar to Sayori.

Jenny

-Out of all of the girls.. She's kind of the most tsundere. She gets mad here and there... She has an ideal hairstyle for the role... Yeah.

-After a while of going to school, she noticed that the girls in her class like to bake and read manga. So she started to engage in those hobbies as well, to fit in with the rest.

-Not completely sure about her personality yet.

Gaz

-She's like.. The most serious girl out of all of the ones I got to choose from.. And she has purple hair, so that's a plus-

-Yuris books are replaced with video games. Yuris tea is probably replaced with soda.

-Not sure about her personality yet.

Blossom

-Do I need to explain anything? You can't look me in the eyes and tell me that she doesn't fit the role I gave her-

Her personality, her hair, her everything just fits-

-Gotta think more about her tho...

I'm not completely sure how the whole story will play out. And also not sure about the.. you know.. gore and scary stuff. They are just kids, I don't have the heart to do anything bad to them, so don't expect a full on massacre. More on that later. Oh and, one last thing. All of them have the dokis accessories, so that you can see who is who. Charlotte has Sayoris bow, Gaz Yuris hair clip... Etc. And I also paid attention to the socks and shoes, so-
