Kuroo, Tsukishima, Kenma, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi with an s/o who’s stressed over final results

a/n: i don’t know about y’all but it’s been one heck of a semester for me and i’m in Spain (but the “s” is silent) this is extremely self-indulgent but i’m sure i’m not the only one who needs it right now. this ended up being kinda wack but let me know if you want a part 2!
cw: a little ooc

KUROO TETSUROU
notes how tense you have been for the past few days but doesnt bring it up yet
he waits until you seem more stable to talk to you about
if you show no signs of it, he will bring it up very cautiously anyways
he respects your boundaries and will actively try to tutor you or get other people’s notes for you (if you don’t share that subject)
wants you to know grades aren’t everything
“what’s wrong,” kuroo asks. he takes your bag from you and places it on the foot of his bed; the two of you had decided to go back to his place to study.
you shake your head, lacking energy to even speak to him. your legs tremble as you wordlessly sit on the bed and take out your notes. kuroo scoffs before grabbing your notes and tossing it on his desk. he crouches down in front of you.
“what’s wrong, y/n,” he asks again and you break down. days of holding back tear finally takes a a toll on you and tears stream freely. kuroo immediately holds you. “kitty, are finals stressing you out? is that it?”
you nod. your arms wrap around kuroo tightly. “i’m not doing well in class.”
kuroo’s heart hurts at the break in your voice. he tightens his hold on you, running his fingers through your hair. “y/n, kitty, you should’ve told me earlier.”
he frowns, and pulls out his phone to text yaku and kai for their notes, he wants all the help he can give you for the next semester. with his other hand, he lifts you onto his lap and scoots over to the middle of the bed.
“we’re gonna take a nap now,” he says. you open your mouth to argue but he interrupts, “we can study when we wake up. rest first, y/n.”
he lays on the bed and pulls you with him. he waits until your breath has evened out and the other third years reply before he closes his own eyes.

TSUKISHIMA KEI
he’s definitely more blunt about it
he’s very perceptive and have been waiting days for you to finally fess up
one day he just snaps (but not in a bad way)
the results for finals week was announced four days ago and it was taking a toll on your mental being. it isn’t that you were at the bottom of the class, but you aren’t at the top either. you’re hesitant to tell kei. after all, he constantly ranks top three for all subjects he takes. while you’re in the same college prep class as him, you rarely even rank in the top half. even today, when you already have plans to have a sleepover with yamaguchi to celebrate the end of finals, you can’t bring yourself to enjoy it.
“go ahead kei, i’ll catch up later,” you say and turn to leave for your house.
“no,” kei says, grabbing your arm, “something’s bothering you and until you tell me about it, i’m going to stay by your side.”
“you can go, i’m fine.”
“no, you’re not.”
“yes, i am.”
“no.”
“yes.”
“no.”
“fine, kei,” you snap, “my final results were shitty. is that what you wanted to hear?” you didn’t wait for kei to reply as you yank yourself out of his grip. a loud sigh is heard before quick footsteps follow you.
an arm reaches around your waist and you feel kei’s chin on your head. “y/n, i love you, you know that? regardless of your grades.”
your body trembles, you bask in kei’s warmth. he turns you around and fully envelopes you into his arms. you’re both silent while the distant sounds from your school act as white noise. you are thankful kei, he who despises pda, went out of his comfort zone to comfort you. with a promise of strawberry shortcake, he leads the two of you to yamaguchi’s house.

Welcome, sailor, to the bottom of the deep Pacific. You seem pale. Have I frightened you?
Oh, I must have, mustn't I? Perhaps you haven't met a siren before? Perhaps you haven't met a frail creature like me? Perhaps you haven't been towered over by a halfling underwater, circling you like you're prey...
My, my, it seems I have frightened you even more. What a pity... Don't fret, you won't be harmed... Yet. Why don't we get you relaxed, hmm? I'll show you around...
