chapter 2 of electric hearts. Previously, El0w3n and Jenny fell from the bridge into a truck and El0w3n awakes first.

this chapter is not the longest but still quite a bit

so after El0w3n wakes up from the EMP they are awake and alert and find themselves well no longer fighting, they are confused and recall what happend right before. Remembering the EMP they realize they were heavily carted away, and they see Jenny They arent too fond of jenny as she picked a fight with them but they end up thinking about what to do and what their trainer would want them to do, what their current trainer has taught them, And they reluctantly decide to start carrying jenny home, first though they go and get a map from a nearby gas station and well scan it and comit it to memory Since El0w3n concluded to take Jenny home, despite Jenny assaulting them out of nowhere. They pick up Jenny. Thanking their booster energy (the pokemon item, it’s important for later) for both getting them up earlier and helping them bear the weight as Jenny is cannonicly 600lb (I looked it up) and at least 200lbs over their safe carry limit. So Jenny isn’t too happy about waking up in the middle of nowhere with only the robot she was fighting, so as she threatens El0w3n, they kinda just… throw her off And while

Jenny is shouting at them for kidnapping her, they correct her, with pointing out they were also knocked out, and after a bit of arguing Jenny realizes her gps is a little fried and El0w3n is the only one with the map

so they enter a reluctant aliance because of jennys lack of a map, and well They basically told her said “fine stay here for all i care, im going back” , and after a bit jenny realizes that this stranger was carrying her for. Several miles piggy back style and they end up talking, jenny asks if they need a break, and El0w3n is machine mentality and just keeps pushing forward even though they are tired saying they dont need to stop, they need to get back to the original town they are then in an akward silence, but its mostly akward for jenny as shes used to chatting where El0w3n isnt. so jenny starts chatting with them as they walk. and as they keep going jenny ends up asking what they were doing in the city, El0w3n talks about how they met their trainer, and things that their trainer taught them “She taught me mercy, how to love. She taught me what it means to care for another” They explain that they are trying to go back, and in the meantime is helping because they arent going to ignore people in danger, because what their trainer has taught them, and with El0w3n putting in so much effort to learn from their trainer they do not wish to just abandon those teachings even if they dont fully grasp them they ask jenny why it upset her, and she ends up saying that its because no ones really done her job much before. El0w3n asks why this bothers her, if it helps keep her less busy. And jenny kind of sputters so they just ask “do you want me to stop?” “…kinda?” “…….Affermitive”

so they do just kinda chat as they eventually make their way back (jenny will regret her decision as El0w3n’s help has been letting her do a lot less work and from what ive seen she always complains about all the work she has to do. Like its in the theme that shes complaining about having to do it a lot) They chat more and jenny asks “So do you like… sleep?” “Negative” “Do you rest?” “Affirmative” “…so you sleep?” “Negative” they explain they have a low power mode which works like sleep but they remain fully aware in this mode and can switch back on at any time. The ‘sleep’ mode is used to purge corrupt data and clear out viruses. While they can last long without this, it is still important for proper functioning.

so roughly about here they are almost. Back and when jenny goes off after they get back. The two kinda get along now, no more fighting between them. El0w3n is fully searching only for a way back home, and just as they predicted, in a matter of time Jenny got overwhelmed with the amount of aliens and whatever she had to fight since El0w3n took on about half the load of her work. So she was only really taking care of like teenager stuff at the time.

so after getting used to not having to fight much, jenny is getting calls significantly more since El0w3n isnt taking care of it, and shes getting very overwhelmed Especially since they were bringing more forces to go up against El0w3n. and Jenny who was really enjoying her free time starts looking for El0w3n again eventually finding them and asking them to work again “Negative” “What?! Why!?” The cold robotic eyes look at her

“Contradictory” So jenny eventually realizes her mistake that while she takes pride in her job, she also really wants to spend time with her human friends and ends us apologizing “Look…El0w3n.. im sorry….you.. you were right. Your help.. it made things a lot less busy for me, and i got used to it, without your help ive been getting overwhelmed. Can you… help me again.. please?” And theres a long pause “Affermative, but recall that i will not always be present” so jenny just gets excited and ends up hugging them, which leaves them more than a little confused. But after their rough start blossomed a friendship. Which the two would be able to work together and fight together. Even playing rock paper scissors to decide whose fighting that day.
