Wow. I'm not sure what the plot was exactly, but it's powerful, and Percy's acting was amazing.

You certainly feel some type of way by the end. For something that's only about 5 minutes long, it's an amazing piece of work.

I am sooo glad someone agrees with just how important Enid and Wednesday being just friends is. Fandom is so obsessed with pairings that a genuine friendship must seem like a stepping stone to romance. In Wednesday's case, yes, a genuine romantic interest would be a big step forward for her character, but her letting someone in just because she enjoys their company is probably an even bigger step. Think about it, this is a girl that holds everyone at arms length, and yet, she's let Enid worm her way through her emotional shields. For the first time in her life, she's building a safety net of people she can rely on, rather than falling back on her "me against the world" mindset.

That's not even considering just how important having a reliable female friend actually is for women. With how toxic and catty women are socialized to be to each other thanks to societies' tendency to make virtually everything a competition as if there are only so many resources (men, jobs, fashion, popularity, money, power, etc.), it's important to have a woman on your side that you don't feel the need to compete against and who can help in boasting each other up rather than tearing each other down.

Genuine friendship needs to be boosted up in Fandom. As much as I am a Wenvier shipper, and I do always form a ship in every fandom I'm in, I'm also a huge proponent of the importance of genuine friendship in a series. Enid and Wednesday need each other. They need each other for support, comfort, and pure companionship, no strings attached.

It’s best to film this series as “the Queen’s move”; the main character is asexual; she only cares about chess. it will be better here too. Wednesday will also be a proud independent single. if they make her LGBT, many will not like her, if she is made straight, there are also opponents. so he'll get into his hearse and ride off into the sunset, like in the movie "The Quick and the Dead," long live feminism
