My Wimbledon Champ ( 1 )

Author’s note: kinda similar to the last one I deleted. (This will have multiple parts and I also replaced Zverev with Jannik because he didn’t deserve to reach the finals.)

You were far out in the stands watching the 2024 Roland Garros Finals between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. You were hoping that Jannik would win this match because you had a little crush on him and also because you had been supporting him for a long time. After a while you heard the words, Game, Set, Match, Alcaraz.

You were never a big fan of Carlos at all. When u heard his name the only thoughts that formed in your mind were, overrated, and self-centered. To you, when your favorite player lost you were never that sad for a long period of time. The most being like 30 minutes or something. But this time when you heard those words from the umpire’s microphone, you couldn’t help but feel like breaking down.

Jannik has said that this tournament meant a lot to him, and seeing probably his biggest rival win was sad, not just for you, but for him and everyone supporting him.

Later that day, you were in the hotel lobby when you see a very familiar face. Carlos Alcaraz.

Even though you didn’t like him, you wanted a picture with him to show off to your Carlos-obsessed friends. You didn’t expect much other then to get declined or get annoyed stares even though he won.

“Hey, your Carlos Alcaraz right?”

When Carlos turned around and saw your face, he looked mesmerized, a much different look then you expected.

“Uh- yeah! I am.”

You hesitated a little before asking your question “Can I get a photo if thats okay?”

His face didn’t change at all and he continued to eye you down. You were still confused by his look but didn’t ask further questions.

“Yeah! That’s completely okay.”

You pull out your phone and take a selfie. You thank him and begin to walk away slowly as you text your friends to show off your picture with him.

Carlos was so stuck in his thought remembering your beautiful face features, he didn’t realize that you had walked away until the next couple of seconds. He began running towards your direction.

“Hey! Wait I had a question for you!” you turned around to see Carlos chasing you. This time, your the one giving him the annoyed expression. As you wait for him to answer his question, you also can’t help but to look at his beautiful jawline. You couldn’t lie to yourself, he was hot.

“Uhm- I was gonna ask if maybe you had instagram?”

“Yeah I do why?”

“Is it-“

He was stuttering a lot and it kind of annoyed you, but you waited until he finally got his words out of his mouth.

“Is it okay if I get it?”

You face now turning more shocked than anything, your mouth open, one eyebrow raised, and your eyes wide. Did he just ask you that? Arguably the most handsome player on tour asking you for your instagram?

You decided to ignore that thought, he was just being friendly right? You didn’t think much of it and just gave him your user. He made sure to follow you right away just in case he might forget later.

“Also, congrats on the win” you tell him with a very unhappy tone, you already knew he figured out that you were rooting for Jannik and that made him frown.

“Thanks! Also.. Uh- if you’re free tonight.. there’s gonna be a party celebrating the win? I mean if you wanna come of course.”

“Isn’t that party only for close peopl-“

“And people I invite! So I’m deciding to invite you!”

He seemed very happy to invite you even if you hadn’t accepted it yet. You were starting to get a little suspicious with this whole thing but went along with it. At this point your cheeks were already slightly red.

“Yeah sure, ill come what time?”
