You couldn’t concentrate in class. The professor was lecturing on and on about god knew what, whilst you just doodled on one side of your notebook. You weren’t half as good as Jungkook, but it was something.

It didn’t take much time to realize you had actually felt something during that kiss. Right after you had left his apartment, you ran all the way back to your dorm just to get rid of the sudden burst of energy. It was all you had on your mind after that – even more, actually.

Where the fuck am I?

Jungkook pried his eyelids open to find himself lying on a bed, the room completely silent aside from the soft whirring of the ceiling fan above him.

I don’t have a fan in my room.

It was dark, but the room was just faintly illuminated by the street lamp shining through the window.

He reached a hand out and swept it across the sheets next to him, only to be met by a warm, sedentary lump.

Jungkook sat up, a bit too abruptly, and was met with an intense pounding in his head. He pressed a palm to his forehead, trying to still the room that was spinning around him.

Oh god, how much did I drink?

He always drank too much. It was a habit he picked up during his college days and he could never seem to shake it. However recently, he’d been blacking out more than usual, and it was starting to affect his work.

Jungkook looked over at the naked woman passed out next to him.

Please be alive.

“To conclude this module on Lesser Demons, we’re collaborating with your Charms and Rituals professors and giving a joint assessment.”

The low, gravelly tone of your demonology professor suddenly pierced the thick film of the daydream you’d been immersed in and immediately you perked up in your seat in interest. You weren’t always such a bad student, but this class was last on a Friday afternoon and in all honestly you were just waiting until you could go home. You could feel your friend Seokjin grinning at you from his seat beside you, but you ignored him in favour of listening to your professor for the first time in the two hours you’d been sitting here.

Demonology was one of your favourite classes, second only to Charms and Rituals— and to hear that your assessments for both were being joined into one? You could hardly believe it, and were instantly alert and awake, excited almost to hear what was going to be happening.

“Yes, for your final assessment of the semester you will be using your knowledge of lesser demons, as well as the rituals for summoning and binding that you’ve been learning in my class,” your head whipped over at the smooth tone of your Charms and Rituals professor, a youthful woman that went by the name Seulgi and had inky hair that fell pin-straight down her back. In all honesty, you had no idea when she’d entered the room and as a result had been extremely startled by her presence— you could hear Seokjin snickering at your reaction.

“You all have learnt extensively about the summoning ritual in previous years, and even more so this year, along with the binding ritual we covered in the first half of the semester,” Seulgi’s dark eyes flitted over the large room of her pupils, your demonology professor standing to her side behind the desk. “For this assessment, you will be summoning a Lesser Demon, commanding it successfully to complete a minor task for you, and then binding it into servitude to you. We will be inspecting the symbol of binding that results as proof of your completion of the assessment.”

He grew up just about on his own, isolating himself in the orphanage he took refuge in until he was 16 and found a way to live alone. He had never felt passionate about anything with a heartbeat. Taehyung was a smart guy too, making top grades and taking advanced classes. He already had a nice-paying office job as one of the heads in marketing, and he was a beautiful singer for whatever event he was hired to enchant an audience at. Unrealistic? Yes, but so was he. However, he felt like he couldn’t hold a candle to you.

Yet, you were not popular whatsoever, a real recluse. You rarely went to parties, never dated, and you’ve never so much as been offered sex from someone sober. Your longest committed relationship was with your academics. You were a receptionist at Taehyung’s place of work, and you were a sophomore in college, so you never had any classes with him. You were only remarkable in the sense of academics, but this year you were told art history was a requirement, and you were happy with the subject, ecstatic, but you knew the class required partner work. However, Taehyung knew you too well.

You started working as a receptionist a year ago, and Taehyung fell in love with you at first sight. He resisted his emotions, trying to shake you off in whatever female’s bed he broke, but nothing worked. He came to terms with the fact that he was enchanted after three months, and he was going through a voluntary dry spell since then. The next woman he would touch would be you if you were willing of course.

Taehyung was obsessive and a little crazy, but he was a gentleman. However, you were more sexual hungry than he ever expected.
