man w/ the cantarella scene in 37 it is so kerazy how the music keeps glitching, repeating itself, the camera panning over again and again like it’s trying to refocus on utena and anthy and make the scene go Right this time, doubletaking, second guessing whether it really wants to show how much they love each other. ik i talk abt the Narrative so much but guys the fucking NARRATIVE it’s finally reached a point where they just . love each other so so much in a way that the Narrative wasn’t prepared for and didn’t want to show and now it doesn’t even know what to do with itself .. something something censored kiss in the movie credits something something we find out only in the credits of the last episode of the show that in that photo they were holding hands. The love was so so there and the story hid it for as long as it could but there was just too much of it and it started breaking the Guts of the whole world like water in a circuitboard

As the process requires extreme precision, each animator can only create up to 4 to 5 seconds of footage a day. Approximately 86,000 individual images were required to create this series.
