order description. jimin is a vampire. jimin is also your boyfriend. this can be very problematic at times, but sometimes, it comes in handy in more ways than one. alternatively: jimin is a whiny, grumpy, and clingy vampire who can’t deal with the silent treatment after a fight.

“Baby, please.”

Jimin plops onto the couch, body sinking down into the plush material as he lets out another huff. He can’t find it in himself to be angry, not when he brought this upon himself, so he simply sulks as he hugs his knees to his chest, ducking his head down and tucking his chin into his chest. His pretty pink lips are pushed up into a pout, effectively enhancing the squishiness of his cheeks as they puff up during his fit. He rolls his eyes when he’s met with nothing but the light padding of sock-clad feet against kitchen tiles and silence.

You continue stirring the simmering pot of tomato sauce, slowly swathing the wooden spatula in clockwise circles of the creamy sauce as you try and nearly fail to bite back a grin. He looks so adorable like that: perched on the couch with wide eyes staring up at you pleadingly, fingers fidgeting with his shirt as he carefully gauges your reaction. Letting out another hum of content, you turn the stove off, adjusting your peach colored apron and fixing the low ponytail sloping against your neck.

He stares at the silver bracelets that line your arm, shining under the warm kitchen lights. A silver necklace dangles from around your neck, the red jewel embedded in the center among sculpted flowers and thin, curved vines pressed squarely against the supple skin of your throat. He can almost feel the burn of the metal against his skin, the sharp and slightly sour tang that zaps him as he comes in contact with the material. His intense scrutiny causes a flush of pink (you swear it’s the heat of the kitchen though you know better) to creep up your neck and dust across the apples of your cheeks, making you shy away from his narrowed eyes. Jimin lets out another huff, throwing himself back as he glances up at the ceiling with his jaw clenched.

“I’ll buy you food. Take you out. Do the dishes for a month. I’ll do anything, just please stop ignoring me. I won’t do it again, okay? I’ll take care of myself.” He offers, expecting nothing but silence in return.

“Hm alright, fine then.” You tease with a grin elongating the curve of your lips, watching as he immediately perks up. His eyes widen in delight and disbelief, a smug smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he pumps his fists up in the air in triumph. You almost feel bad that you’re going to rain on his joyous parade.

“Let’s get Italian! Extra garlic in the pasta and garlic bread on the side!” You declare excitedly after a moment, clapping your hands together as you reach for the laminated menu posted on the refrigerator.

Just like that, Jimin immediately deflates like a balloon, falling onto his knees and slumping against the floor as if he were melting into a puddle. His cheek presses against the cold kitchen tiles as he lets out a hopeless whine. It reminds you of a three year old throwing a temper tantrum —not that he’s that far from one— and the thought almost makes you giggle.

Your extremely observant vampire boyfriend narrows his eyes at you, catching onto the slight change of your demeanor with his heightened senses as his heart skips a beat at how cute you are. Despite how grumpy he is, he cannot help but admire how beautiful you look, even on a day as simple and boring as this one. Your hair is pulled back into a loose ponytail, baby hairs framing the sides of your pretty face that seems to glow under the mellow lights. An over-sized cotton tee —he’s pretty sure it’s from his closet— floods your figure until the hem ends at your thighs, the slightly see-through material causing his eyes to wander up.

His thoughts are interrupted once you open the fridge, something between a huff and a sigh tumbling from his lips as lets out an incoherent mumble, grumbling on about how he’s “back at square one again.”

“I’ll buy you sushi and drop you 10,000 bells in Animal Crossing.”

“Make it 10,000 and a couple gold nuggets, and that’ll be a bargain.”

Jimin rolls his eyes playfully, watching as you slide off the bracelets and unclasp the necklace, before pouncing on you and wrapping his arms around your waist. His arms slot perfectly against your hips, face pressed into your tummy as he mumbles out an apology.

“Baby, you know I could never say ‘no’ to you.”

“Never? Because there’s that dim-sum table I wanted from your island.” You tease, running a hand through his mop of hair.

He sighs, playfully rolling his eyes as he presses a peck to your forehead in response.
