Kinda fucked up when you think about the fact that technically, with Priam and every single one of his sons dead - Astyanax was the successor to the throne. And then you realize it's a child, a fucking toddler at best. His kingdom is nothing more and nothing less than ruins on fire. His people are either dead or enslaved. No gold, no horses, no walls, nothing that made Troy what it once was. Just a little king left to rule over ruins. And that tragic reign would last for maybe a few hours. Hector wanted his son to be better than him, and in the end, Hector died a prince, and Astyanax died a king. But jesus christ.

people keep trying to make "ladies and gentlemen" more inclusive.

I think we should go the other way around.

make more and more weird false dichotomies in greetings. "gamers and pianists". "oil painters and swordsmen". "vexillologists and entomologists". "chess masters and diamond artificers". "accountants and gendered individuals".

we need to be dropping shit into formal meetings to make people say "wait what? which one am I?"
