And you know what? I hope she gets it. I hope that somehow, some way, she finds herself in Lena’s shoes. And she drives herself to glorious, well-deserved ruin because she plunged in WAY too rashly and WAY too confidently in proportion to her actual skills. I hope she fucks up, bad, and pays the price for her hastily-assembled wax wings. I hope she doesn’t have time to apologise for her arrogance and her inadequacy.

awesome i wasn’t looking for anything weird or convoluted in particular it’s just that ‘odysseus and horses’ felt like something that could go many ways but yeah this makes a lot of sense to me sort of like how native americans took to horses after europeans introduced them—they’re just fascinating and big and go very fast odysseus went ‘woah these are cool’ and hyperfixated throughout the war odysseus the odyssey the iliad greek mythology

Hi if you ever find yourself in a relationship saying anything along the lines of "well I can't leave cause I would never be able to find something better than this because I'm trans/fat/aging/antisocial/unlucky" I beg of you to run. Please. You can find and build better but in order to do that you have to take the first step out the door. You do not have to endure abuse, mistreatment, or just plain incompatibility for the sake of a fraction of happiness. You don't.
