I was already a fan of Security Breach (I know, heresy), but this has the potential to add an extra layer of awesome to what's already there!

I'm finally home for the summer! 😭

I finished up my last final today (Electromagnetic Theory; my professor graded everything basically instantly since there are only three of us in the class, and he said I did well), and everything was just pleasant from then on out. First and foremost, I got to see the cutest puppies in the world:

Then we got to relax at home for a bit, and we went out to Saga for dinner as an early birthday celebration for me/Mother's Day celebration for my mom. I already knew we were going to do this, but you know what I didn't know?

We had some guests.

A few of my aunts and uncles, and one of my cousins, all from my dad's side of the family. I was only tipped off about something going on when the restaurant host wanted to confirm our party size with my mom. I expected just the four of us in my immediate family; there were twelve of us total. It truly was a surprise, and it made me really happy.

Dinner itself was good, too. I ordered the Saga Special, which is a hibachi meal composed of the following: fried rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, shrimp, and filet mignon. I was stuffed afterward, but man, it was worth it!

Finally, I decided to treat myself to a couple of little birthday gifts: a replica of Sayaka Miki's soul gem, and its ring version. Some references for readers who aren't familiar with Madoka Magica:

(I chose Homura's collage for the second picture because Sayaka's was such low resolution. Each ring has the magical girl's name engraved on it in the series' runic alphabet, and it puts a unique mark on their fingernail. Sayaka's mark is a blue crescent/stylized whole note.)

I don't know when they'll get here, but I'm looking forward to them!

So yeah. Today was a good day, and I think this is going to be a great summer overall. :)

I did some Sharpie detailing on Donnie to try and make him slightly more show-accurate. He looks a little more lively now. :)
