so I went to the Naruto Exhibition in Osaka and Jump World Tokyo this past month and I bought some Naruto goodies for you :)

so I’ve been in a relationship for 5 years now. And I see a lot of posts about how people think relationships mean having butterflies forever, your heart beating faster when they walk into a room, about cuddling together every night, legs intertwined, that you’d be so happy to live together you’d sleep on a double bed with each other every night.

And its not really like that, at least not to me.

You stop getting the butterflies when you live together. Your heart no longer speeds up when you see them, but instead, everything calms down. When youre in the room with them, you feel calm, and secure. When you cuddle them you feel your heart beat slow, and the sound of their breathing carry you towards comfort. It doesnt feel like a roller coaster anymore, it feels like home.

You don’t sleep curled up with each other every night, legs twisted between theirs so tight its hard to tell where yours begin and theirs end.

Instead, you sleep comfortably, side by side, sometimes facing different directions. But every night, you find yourself scooting backwards on the bed so you bump into them. You snuggle against their arm, or stroke their hair as they fall asleep. There are nights when my boyfriend, in his sleep, reaches around me and pulls me to him, like a child with his teddybear, like I am his comfort.

 In the wee hours of the morning before the dawn breaks, when the world is blue and you see through cracked eyes, you curl into their chest and inhale their scent before drifting back to sleep. 

Kisses aren’t always romantic and firey anymore. But there are so much more of them now. There are cold kisses when you’re eating ice cream in the summer, and sticky kisses over breakfast pancakes. There’s “im leaving now” kisses, and “one more kiss before you go” kisses. There’s sleepy morning kisses before work, when you don’t remember the alarm going off but instead the press of their lips against yours is what brings you into the day.

There’s kisses before sleep, and, you are so sweet with the things you do kisses. There’s kisses because you treat animals so tenderly, and I’m so glad i’m with you and not someone else kisses. There’s quick kisses in the aisles of the grocery store, when its loud and you gravitate together, when instead of having your own personal space and their own personal space, its both of yours together, and you step into their chest to take up less area together. 

You don’t always text each other with confessions of love and care like you used to, because that’s a given now, and you’ve moved on to quirky inside jokes about the life youve built together. You share looks of exasperation and amusement in public, your own little world against the outside one. 

Relationships aren’t always a fairy tale. They’re not always fireworks and sparks, at least, after the start.

But they are a quiet rhythm and hum of love and care. It’s not a fire in your soul, but one in your hearth, keeping you warm and comfortable, comforting you as you drowsily drift into sleep.

And I love that.

Any SS/Sakura fans going to the NY Comic Con to see Kishi? Can someone ask Kishi directly if Tsunade was the strongest kunoichi and if Sakura surpassed her? I know the answer but if Kishi said it then naysayers would shut up. 

DATABOOK 2: Zesshi Nensan

Databook 4: Ninpō Sōzō Saisei — Byakugō no Jutsu

“For several years using the highest most precise chakra control, a fixed amount is stored in the Byakugou seal. The chakra is usually put to use to regenerate the body through the Ninjutsu technique “Sousou Saisei”, the combination results in the ultimate regeneration Jutsu. The seal was able to regenerate the body, despite Tsunade chakra quantity being less, than the enormous chakra quantity of Shodai Hokage (i’m pretty sure, but this the gist of the line, but this was especially tricky). When Ninpo “Sousou Saisei” is used at the same time as “Byakugou no Jutsu”, it becomes possible to use it (Sousou Saisei) over a long period of time. When ones life is effected by grave wounds pushed to the point where they’d normally die, ones body is instantly returned to an unwounded condition. Than it just talks about the rules of medical ninjutsu where broken with the completion of such a marvelous Ninjutsu as this. Release the chakra stored in ones forehead. Wounds completely recover, while at the same time ones own power rises*, however cell division quickens, which shortens ones life span. ——— *Note, the last line seems to indicate that the technique also increases ones power, besides regeneration, but i’m not a 100% on that line . Considering this is fairly key to how effective the Jutsu is, as if it increases power that explains a-lot about Tsunade and Sakura’s performances/hype, it would be great if another translator went over it. It’s the last line in the text bellow the picture of Tsunade recovering and Madara being punched (which would suggest i’m correct because the pics are highlighting regen and power, but I just don’t want to call it and start a shit storm w/o being 100% sure). So apparently Byakugo no Jutsu is a separate technique than Sousou Saisei, that is used as a booster; hmm I wonder who could have said that and got bitched at in the NBD for suggesting so” Translation by Turrin from Narutoforums

 I don’t think that people realise that Sakura reading Sasori’s attacks and successfully evading them without Chiyo’s help shows that she mastered evasion as taught to her by her master. Sasori is a kage leveled shinobi so if she is evading his moves and predicting his attacks properly then Sakura has mastered that skill. 

Sakura’s Databook 4 entry:

“DB repeats that Sakura caught up to Naruto and Sasuke (in the moment that Sakura states such in the manga). It’s something along the lines, Sakura is a special case her level was hidden. However while Naruto and Sasuke were always running ahead of her she finally caught up to them. Pushing forward through rigorous training. Eventually she blossomed. She polished/improved/refines her strong arm and medical ninjutsu. Sakura had the same chakra control and talent as Tsunade, and before long it blossomed.

Sakura’s talent allowed her to inherit Tsunade’s Kinjutsu

She received Shizune’s techniques as Shizune also trained her like an older sister. I think it also says she surpass Shizune Talks about the rules of being a medic and how the medic should naturally stay out of the front lines. Except when they have the Ninjutsu “Sousou Saisei Byakugou”. Sakura adopted the Jutsu due to her incredible talent. Did anyone notice how Kishi made Sakura bond with two legendary kunoichi? Tsunade is the kunoichi of the sannin and the world’s most powerful and legendary kunoichi while Chiyo, who also shared a master-student bond with Sakura, was a legendary kunoichi from the Sand Village and one of the world’s strongest kunoichi and poison and puppet users. Even though I think Kishi could have done a better job with the females and Sakura especially it is clear that he tried to build up Sakura as a kunoichi and what that means by having legendary kunoichi interact with and influence her. 

Possible jutsu Sakura can use if need be. This is as a result of her learning Shizune’s techniques according to Databook 4.

These jutsu include:

Poison Mist : According to databook 2 page 258 The poison mist jutsu is a technique that combines ninjutsu, chemistry, and medical knowledge.  It is further stated that using it requires fine chakra control and advanced ability in medical ninjutsu.

Prepared Needle Shot: needles soaked in poison are shot from the user’s mouth or a wrist device

Tools include the senbon launcher for the senbon and poisoned senbon in addition to the poisoned kunai and knock out gas bombs Sakura already has. Sakura may need prep time but it is a canon fact that she is able to use these things. 

Apparently Tsunade barely surviving getting cut in half means that Sakura can never surpass her. Newsflash: Sakura has regeneration and Katsuyu so unless she is facing Madara and all her chakra is depleted she is surviving and recovering from being cut in half. 

Maybe I should bring up an actual area of comparison used by Kishi, Sakura’s genjutsu potential.

Funny how no one brings up that in their ‘canon movie’ Sakura is basically immune to genjutsu which is something Tsunade does not have. It’s actually stated here (thought I don’t acknowledge it).  

 So Sakura can do everything Tsunade can, with some being done better and according to the manga she has a genjutsu potential which is something which would allow her to be a greater kunoichi. You all think the last is canon and the absolute truth so then you cannot deny that Sakura’s genjutsu potential is apparently fully realised in the last. You also cannot deny this (also from the last).

Sakura’s profile in the last: “Strongest Healing Ninja of the hidden leaf. Inherited the will, power and knowledge of her master Tsunade.”

NOTE: I do not consider the last canon and as such I do not rely on it for anything. I believe that the manga already showed us that Sakura surpassed her master. However naysayers believe that the last is canon but conveniently ignore these additional areas so I am adding them in.

I cannot believe that people are saying that Sarada is as strong if not stronger than Sakura in 632. On second thought I can. This is the Naruto fandom after all. They are seriously saying that

What is wrong with you? I even saw a popular reviewer saying that Sarada has done what Sakura did in the war arc using the seal. That’s wrong in so many ways. First of all she did not use her seal, she used all of her natural chakra which was now available to her since she was not using any for the seal any more. The seal was not released so how the hell would she get chakra from it? 

SARADA HAS PERFECT CHAKRA CONTROL JUST LIKE HER MOMMY.

Wait. Is Sakura able to snap out of genjutsu faster than a perfect jinchuriki being aided by their beast? Does that mean that Sakura is closer to being immune to genjutsu than a perfect jin like Naruto or Killer B? That’s what happened in the last. She snapped out of the genjutsu first, before Naruto!

Madoka Kaname’s True Wishes, along with her friends, got fullfilled at the end.

I’m going to make one post, and then link this again and again when necessary because I have literally repeated myself so many times even I have lost count. This one is for those who are so awesome that they forgot the anime and are bitching at the Madoka of rebellion who was “amnesiac” and shouldn’t be taken seriously. Okay fine, I won’t take her seriously, not at all. I’m just going to use the Madoka of the “anime” and slap it into your face how that Madoka was completely similar to the Madoka of the flower field scene in rebellion. 

Let’s get started. From the beginning.

Hmmm, in the anime, let’s listen to what our dear Madoka has to say from the beginning.

“Do you value the lives of your family and friends, Madoka Kaname?”

“Wa-I…I mean… uh…..Of course I do. I do….. My family and my friends, I love them very much and ye, they’re very precious to me!”

“Do you mean it?”

“Absolutely! I couldn’t lie about that!”

So we know that from the start, leaving her family and friends, was something that highly unthinkable for Madoka, to the point that even though it was a strange question from a stranger, Madoka didn’t even hesitate to tell her how important they were, and always will be for her, forever. 

So that’s how she feels from the beginning. 

Okay, fast forward.

Kyubey explained to Madoka how they have been intervening since the extremely early times and have been incubating witches from then so to say is what set everything on motion. Madoka wanted to save them from that cruel fate, and she knew about how her potential was high enough for her to become a God if she so wished for it – as said by Kyubey as well.

So now we know that Madoka came to know that she was the ONLY ONE who could do it. The only one who could save the puella magis from their cruel destiny as well. The only one. This was the moment she decided her wish to make.

But…. didn’t she say she valued her family and friends and could never go far away from them, that she would’nt even have the courage for it? 

Damn right. 

She didn’t have the courage for it. And this is, ladies and gentlemen, what we call a change of heart. This is what we call bravery. She stopped caring about herself at this point. Why? Because she had to “save” the puella magis, as well as her family and friends. 

Now, let’s get back to “family and friends”.

Kyubey just told her here that Homura would keep on trying because otherwise, she would become a grief seed and Homura knew this herself as well. 

She had hope and faith, so she would keep on trying. HOWEVER, an episode earlier, it was revealed for THE FIRST TIME TO HOMURA HERSELF IN 100 TIMELINES, that she was increasing the karmic power of Madoka by each loop she made, and thus her fate was becoming even more worse the more times she “hit the try again button”. So this timeline, the moment Kyubey said that to Homura, was surely going to be THE END. Proof?

 “Why? No matter how many timess I try, why can’t I beat it!? Uh!”

“If I go back again, I’ll only make Madoka’s destiny even worse. Everything I’ve done….everything I’ve tried to do…..”

…..satisfied? She said so herself, and was about to die….. 

Whoa whoa wait! How did she get there? Okay, let’s rewind.

She was about to go save Homura but she got stopped by her mother.

“I have to go outside, to save a friend”

“The fire department can take of that, you need to stay”

“But I’m the ONLY one who can do it-!”

“You can’t just go off and do what you want! Don’t you know how much we worry about you!? And you just went out there without saying any-”

“I know!……I know. I do mom…..really……”

“I know how you and dad would feel because, I love you too. In understand how much you and dad care about me, and I know I have to be careful, I do.

“But this is different, I have to protect all of you because of how much I care about you. And I can do it, and the only way I can do it is if you let me go right now!”

And fast forward to pinkie saving the day.

So in conclusion, Madoka made her wish to save Magical Girls because she was the only one who could do it. 

She’s rather be able to save magical girls and be with her loved one, but she can’t, so you gave up herself for the sake of the greater good.

We can take her statement in the flower field about never wanting to leave her loved ones as fact because she would never WANT to leave her loved ones,

but she HAD to in order to serve the greater good.

Don’t even think for a second she did because she would be so happy being a God, NO. She did it because she was the only one who could do it, which made it seem like a duty because otherwise the whole world was doomed, because Homura in this timeline was about to give up.

So like I mentioned above, Rebellion doesn’t contradict shit. People are saying that what she said in the flower field is contradictory. Please excuse me for this but, BITCH, did you even listen to everything she herself said that I just posted for your lazy and deaf ass above!? She said she IS PROTECTING THEM BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH SHE LOVES THEM. 

Amnesiac Madoka said the same freakin’ thing! 

“….It would be to painful for even you to bear?….”

“That’s right. Even if…. I didn’t have any other choice….”

So we know now that Madoka of rebellion and the anime both treasure her family and friend THE MOST. However, Madoka of rebellion said she won’t even if she didn’t have any other choice, WRONG. This Madoka was telling the truth, 

HOWEVER, she didn’t have the slightest idea of the CHOICE. The Madoka that was shown here, was not the “aftermath of anime” Madoka, she was the “start of the anime” Madoka. Both of those Madoka’s, were overcome with immense fear when their family and friends were in danger. Those two Madoka’s, also could not bear to leave their family and friends, at all. Something like that was outrageous for them. One evolved because the whole world was about to be destroyed(refer above), and the other did not evolve because Homura had come to know in her barrier that she was a witch/magical girl. 

Yes. Amnesiac Madoka, and the Madoka that became Madokami, always thought about her family and friends first. Whether amnesiac or not, the REAL MADOKA always shown through, and always will. Her inner most, trust DESIRE was to be with her family and friends.

Now, let’s skip a few months, or the anime :P, and get over to the end of rebellion. Okay so most people say Homura “betrayed” Madoka’s wishes. Um… how? Simple, NO HOW, ONLY NOPE. She never betrayed Madoka’s any single wish at all. First off, there is a reason that the movie is called, “The Rebellion Story”, instead of “The Betrayal Story”. Rebelling is something completely different from betraying. Betraying is always a bad thing, however, rebelling depends, and if we look to the end of rebellion, it was a good rebellion on Homura’s behalf. How? Let me explain. Okay, so you have listened to how much Madoka cared and loved her family and couldn’t bear to leave them. Also, she did for the puella magis as well. Which brings us to the conclusion that Madoka’s truest wish was for a salvation for magical girls to exist, as well as being with her family and friends. The end of Rebellion granted both of those wishes, how? Wait. Let’s get back to Homu- sorry, the “Goddess of Desire”. She is the Goddess of Desire, how? It is because she also makes the inner most desires of everyone come true. 

Mami and Nagisa are each others companion, which is exactly what Mami craved for so long

Mami stated herself that she’s been the happiest she could ever be in Homura’s witch barrier. Homura’s witch barrier. If she could be so content in a world made for Homura’s perfect reality, then either Homura has Mami’s best interests at heart (which I kind of doubt), or Mami was so incredibly lonely that even someone else’s happy dream makes her happy as well. She said that she would have despaired a long time ago without Bebe.

Her happiness was such that she even let her senior facade fade in front of Homura and Madoka—even Homura was surprised, remembering when Mami pretended to be strong.

The fake reality of Homura’s witch barrier is thought of as impossible by Mami. She couldn’t even imagine a world so happy, a world where she could depend on others and not be afraid of being lonely ever again. From most of Mami’s dialogue, I think we can infer that she remembers just some snippets of the world before Homura’s. In the Madoverse, even though we didn’t see much of Mami—I don’t think she was truly happy, because despite having Kyoko and Homura as allies, she didn’t really have a friend. 

But in Homulilly’s barrier—now Homucifer's—she has someone she can take care of, someone she can truly be a senior to, not just a facade.

Kyoko and Sayaka are reunited

The KyouSaya situation is actually fairly similar to HomuMado, but with a few key differences:

Nobody remembers Madoka but Homura. Everyone still remembers Sayaka. This is probably the most important contrast because Kyoko can still believe that Sayaka really existed, unlike Homura, who thought Madoka was something of an illusion her shattered mind created.

Kyoko didn’t know Sayaka for even half as long as Homura knew Madoka. As in less than a month versus nearly 100 months.

But most of it’s the same. They—Homura and Kyoko—both originally thought they could save someone they cared about, but failed pretty badly. The people they’re trying to save went to magical girl heaven, leaving them behind. And during the events of Rebellion, both were unsure whether or not what they experienced was a dream.

I’m not going to sugarcoat anything for KyouSaya shippers, so here I’ll declare outright that Kyoko’s loss wasn’t nearly as heavy as Homura’s for these two reasons stated above. That is not to say, however, that Kyoko wasn’t grief-stricken. She definitely was crushed by the loss.

Kyoko’s story is a pretty tragic one. I mean, all magical girls have their wishes backfired on them one way or another, but Kyoko’s happened to backfire on her entire family and then some. After realizing just what selflessness does, she started caring only for herself out of fear that she might hurt others again. But Sayaka helped her change that view, and when she turned into a witch, Kyoko was willing to return what Sayaka gave her: a new perspective on life. But it was too late then. Madoka made her wish, Sayaka became her secretary, and Kyoko is teh sad just as Homura is teh sad (but seriously, a lot more).

It seems that Homura knew that in Rebellion, too—so in her witch world, Kyoko and Sayaka were naughty but good-hearted middle schoolers, being extremely playful and childish with one another and all-around the kind of best friends that Homura and Madoka can never be. Fast-forward to the battle against Homulilly with the infamous KyouSaya scene where Kyoko wonders about the reality of fighting besides Sayaka. 

Pretty funny actually, both the madohomu and kyousaya talk started with the “I had a scary dream”

They both miss each other very much, clearly. Godoka very powerful, but even she can’t change the fate of Sayaka being gone and Kyoko being left alone.

But Homucifer could.

Sayaka can say “good morning” to her friends again.

She then says that she didn’t realize how happy it would make her feel to be able to greet her friends again, then runs off laughing.

So yeah. I think that puts all “Sayaka isn’t truly happy” arguments to rest.

No back to Madoka, who is safe, alive, and happy.

Like Madoka herself said above, she does truly miss her family and friends.

And despite being amnesiac, Shinbo confirmed that what Madoka said in the flower scene are her true thoughts and feelings at the time (will find source later). Though mostly because she couldn’t imagine Homura’s “dream” coming true, she admits that she wouldn’t be able to bear leaving all her family and friends and that she wouldn’t be strong enough to do so.

She became a god out of duty, not because “lol I’d be so hapy rulin teh worldz”. And since Homura now takes over that duty, Madoka is free to live as she truly should be: a middle-school student with family and friends who laughs and cries like a normal human should, not the god of the world, which is seriously too big of a burden for a fourteen-year-old to bear. 

So there, your precious Madoka slapped it into your face here, and above of how she literally didn’t want to leave at all but had to because there WAS NO OTHER EFFIN’ CHOICE!  

If Madoka isn’t truly happy in Homura’s world, what do you say to this face?

She even keeps the red ribbons, too. You’d think she’d take off ribbons given to her by some creepy stranger.

No, she is a Goddess, and if not, then hell seems better than heaven. How ironic. :/ Also, she thought she was a Devil, it hasn’t been confimred whether she truly is one. Try to turn on your ears, please and thank you!

“Homura threatened to destroy the world”

Remind me exactly why she would destroy the world Madoka loved so much? And why exactly would she destroy her very own realm? Doesn’t make sense. Don’t take words at their face value.

Okay, so we know now that everyone’s wishes were granted. What about Madoka? What about her wishes? As stated by her above, we get to know what she really wanted, so let’s list em’ down!

“I want a salvation to exist for Magical girls! I won’t let their Dreams and Hope end in Despair! 

“I treasure my family and friends, they are the most important to me. Leaving them would be unbearable for me, there’s no way i could do it.”

Wish number one was granted even in the new world. The LOC, Madoka’s wish, is still functioning. But where is it? Here

The Rebellion Guidebook quite explicitly states how Madoka’s power, the LOC, is inside Homura’s ear ring. That’s it. Madoka wanted a salvation for magical girls to exist, and it still does. Look up Homura’s dark orb in the wiki. It contains Madoka’s power which Homura controls and now SHE is controlling and making the LOC do its job.

Now Madoka’s second wish. To be with her family and friends.

Oh and take a look at Madoka, she is wearing ribbons that a STRANGER gave her. So yeah, MADOKA DOESN’T HATE OR THINK badly about Homura at all.  So everyone’s wishes and desires got granted.

Now what about Homura’s? 

Yeah. She is here, far away from Madoka. She isn’t hurting or doing anything bad to her. Madoka’s wishes of being with her family, as well as having a salvation for magical girls, exist in Homura’s world, thereby fulfilling both of Madoka wishes. 

That’s it. That’s what she wanted. She wanted Madoka safe and happy, NOT TO HAVE SEX WITH HER YOU FREAKS. That was Homura’s mission, to protect Madoka, and make sure she is happy.  Her own desire of granting all of Madoka’s wishes also came true. Since she is the Goddess of Desire, surely she must have fulfilled her own desires. So this was her desire, Madoka’s happiness and safety. Her inner most desire was not coupling with her, only to protect her. She later realized Madoka’s true wishes and then went on to grant them as well. She even took mercy on the rest of the puella magi even though they never helped her in the original story.

So that’s it, that’s how rebellion doesn’t contradict anything. If anything, It shows how Madoka had to sacrifice everything for the whole world, even though being with her family and friends was her inner desire. That’s how nothing seems non-sensical, and that’s how everyone’s desires were granted in the end.

According to this, Sakura says to Sasuke ‘I leave it to you’ but as a personal thought, instead of wondering how long she’ll have to wait for him to complete the mission.
