im never gonna forgive tsams for getting rid of solar flare... he could've been such a cool character if they didn't kill him off within like 3 episodes. they had such a cool 'machine turned on its creator' trope going on and his mannerisms were so unique BRING MY BABYGIRL BACK

I am also a bit iffy about sun x y/n or moon x y/n sometimes it's good and sometimes it isn't-

A ruin redemption au story

Ruins sitting in the gift shop playing with his gloves ripping them more...Its been a week since he was found in that...horrible box and he isn't used to living here it's strange very strange to him...

Moon walks into the gift shop "Hey ruin?" He says

Ruin thinking it was nexus keeps quiet...terrified of being stuck in that box...all alone...in the dark cramped space...begging to be let out...

Moon getting frustrated walks over to the counter "Ruin its me moon!" He says

Ruin looks up at moon "Hey..." he says

"Hi" moon says noticing the scared look on his face...and not being that great at comforting anyone tries to think of something

"Uh want to go into the daycare?" Moon asks

Ruin nods and gets up following moon to the daycare and once there inside ruin walks over to the ballpit sitting in it feeling content

Moon not trusting ruin still watches gin closely making sure he isn't planning anything or talking to anyone...

Ruin just sits in the ballpit finding it comforting? Yeah comforting! It's his comfort? Yup his comfort.

        Ruin had been helping Sun with the kids all day so when Sun took the kids to the theater, Ruin was relieved. He headed back towards the ballpit, crawling into the bottom of the little castle. He curled up a bit, laying down and closing his eyes.

        “Mr. Ruin?” A small voice called from the top of the little castle. Ruin immediately sat up. He looked up to see a little girl peeking down at him.

        “Aren’t you meant to be in the theater, dear?”

        The little girl climbed down and sat with him, “I don’t like the theater…”

        Ruin looked down at her, tilting his head, “And why is that?”

        “It gets too loud in there…”

        Ruin nodded and held his arms open. The small girl climbed into his lap.

        “Will Mr. Sun be mad at me?”

        “Of course not!” Ruin patted her head with one hand while she fidgeted with his other one, “Maybe just tell us next time, little one.”

        She nodded and yawned.

        “Tired?”

        The little girl mumbled a response Ruin couldn’t quite make out but he could tell she had skipped out on naptime. He chuckled softly and cradled her.

        “Tch, don’t worry, dear. You can rest with me if you’d like.”

        “Can you sing me a lullaby?”

        Ruin thought for a moment. It had been years, hell maybe even decades, since he sang to a child. He wasn’t sure if he even could sing anymore, but looking down at the tired little girl in his lap, he decided to try anyway. 

        “I can try…”

        She curls up, still holding his pawed hand and fidgeting with it. Ruin smiles and sighs. 

He began singing softly, “Dear Theodosia…”

TIME SKIP

Solar noticed that Ruin wasn’t with Sun in the theater. Curious, he headed down to the daycare. Ruin wasn’t at the front desk so he turned to leave when he heard soft singing from by the ballpit. He headed over and peeked into the castle. He smiled at the sight. Ruin was curled up, cradling the sleeping  little girl, his own eyes closed as he sang to her. Solar crouched down and crawled inside. 

“Quite a voice you got there,” Solar whispered. Ruin peeked up at him, flushing a bit.

“I hadn’t realized anyone else could hear-” 

“Hey, it’s alright. I like your voice. And clearly she did too,” solar pet the little girl's hair. 

Ruin sighed, “I suppose she did.”

Solar layed down on the other side so he and Ruin were on each side of the girl. Ruin looked up, smiling. 

Solar winked, “Go ahead and rest, Song Bird.”

Ruin flushed and chuckled, closing his eyes. He let himself rest.

A what if situation story!

What if nexus was successful in kidnapping sun?

Sun get thrown into the lab and ruin rushes over helping him up and looks at sun worried...He's been with nexus for a while and knows how nexus is when he doesn't get something he wants

"Ruin back up from sun now." Nexus says

Ruin backs up and stares at sun worried we nexus roughly grabs sun and plugs him into his computer

"Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way" nexus says and stares down at sun "Choose"

"I said I won't help you!" Sun says

"The hard way it is" nexus says and shoves his fingers through the back of suns head causing him to cry out and struggle

"Just need you unable to walk" he says mercilessly

Sun struggles feeling horrible pain in his head before nexus rips his hand out of suns head

"There we go" nexus says

Ruin watched the whole thing when dark sun enters and glares down at sun...getting angry that he was here

"why is he here" dark sun asks

"Nexus brought him in" ruin says

Dark sun groans and walks over to sun bending behind him and gently fixes his motherboard scolding nexus...But agreeing to let nexus us sun to collect the Wither shards
