I swear you hit it the nail on the head every time, you just can't miss.

I just keep thinking the first thing Eclipse does when he wakes up with his new found sentience in Sun's head: "W-Where am I? Is that me outsi-wait....Why am I still here?!? We agreed to kill Sun, we agreed to kill this idiot!"

This was from the ep we finally got to see Eclipse wake up and the entire thing was from Eclipse perspective told by Eclipse to himself really. So it's 100% honest to what really happened.

He said 'we' cause Old Moon at the time WAS aware of KC and from what we know he had some baseline form of communication. He made an agreement but then Monty came along and split them and gave them their own bodies but even when Moon was getting what he wanted he just...."Well I'm gonna dump this in Sun's head because he resets it naturally so whatever this is will be dormant in him and I'll never have murderous rage again. This will not affect me or Sun's future in anyway" Then when Sun went to the other Dimension where they never split, cause the computer thought it'd be funny to do un-anesthetized surgery on Sun and send his merry ass on his way to a literal hell on earth to meet a Moon so insane in the first second of seeing Sun he tries to bite his face off.

Brazzy Moon "No...I killed you! I killed you and I heard you scream! You...I don't know how you're here but I'll kill you again...I remember how you begged, maybe you'll do it again! it's the ONLY way I can be free! The only way I can be out!" *chases Sun around the daycare claws out ready to literally rip him apart*

You know I was mad steamed too when baby girl got home and all Moon really cared about was that Sun saw the darkest part of him in another dimension. He wasn't mad at Sun for being in danger, he was mad Sun had the audacity to learn about something he didn't want him to know about.

Yeah one can argue Old Moon genuinely didn't think leaving KC fragments in Sun's head might affect Sun...but like no. Just No. He was flat out being his usual harmful selfish self and we have proof of this from another Moon in another dimension who treats his Sun far better???

Sane Moon "When Monty split us I didn't leave the killcode in Sun's head, that would have hurt him. I know better then to do that. I just read my code and took it out via programming." proceeds to comfort this random extremely depressed Sun by lying to him and saying what he wants to hear. Our Sun met him by chance, but I don't think it was. Sun is slowly, painfully slowly, having to come to terms that Old Moon was awful and terrible for no justifiable reason. He didn't just harm him by accident. It was always intentional.

I really think it'll be so tragically ironic if Sun somehow is kidnapped and even brainwashed to serve Nexus (hee hee ANGST POTENTIAL) but even Nexus who is in his whole "I don't care who I kill" phase doesn't lay a single finger on Sun.

No matter how angry New Moon/Nexus ever got, he never hit Sun. He one time tried to hug him, to a big disaster (Sun was not in the mood to be touched and understandable I do not want to be hugged when I'm mad). Even when NM/Nexus was angry, down right pissed, he didn't even so much as insult Sun. He just yelled.

Also Girl's supporting girls!!! Yes!!! Dark Sun was so happy to meet Sun finally, even if stinky Old Moon ruined it. Dark Sun seemed so genuine when meeting Sun. I heard actually emotions in his voice! Then Moon talked and his joy died.

I find it sooooo interesting he went out of his way to basically warn them about Nexus and tell them Nexus is going to do some naughty things. Almost like he's hoping to encourage Sun to knock some sense into his little brother.

I also noticed that cute little moment when Moon tried to get Dark Sun to say what kind of relationship he has with Nexus is, because they're not brothers, and Dark Sun got ooohhh soooo snippy.

Hee Hee he's hiding stuff oooohhh girllll Dark Sun you baddie, keeping your secrets.

I also loved how Dark Sun called Sun out too, "Eventually you'll grow a back bone" Because he knows Sun is still bottling everything up! Sun has so much to say but hasn't spilled the tea!

I still don't fully understand Sun myself! Please! I want to know your thoughts Sun! Project to the universe how you really think and feel!

I would also like to point out, there's a big repeating cycle of people coming back and telling Sun they'll include him. At first they do! He's consulted and included at first and usually has a lot to offer. Eventually though, the people who make those promises inevitably phase Sun out of the loop to keep him 'safe' and 'protected'.

Old Moon said to Sun he'd be keeping less secrets and I just finished ep Ruin and Moon's AGREEMENT in VR chat and guess who was not informed and I have a guess will never be informed? LMAO I don't even need to say it :)

Sun: "Earth, he tried to kill you, it's ok to not forgive him. As bad as Old Moon was...he didn't want to kill me."

I literally have been non-stop thinking about the fam looking for him!!! And also Goliath got that yummy "I like him as an enemy not an ally" vibe going.

I literally can't stop teehee-ing over the idea of Moon and Solar falling apart looking for him while probably not sharing the entire truth with the others.

I keep imagining how the first reveal will go, I hope that the fam find him all the hearts break. I want Sun to be a heartbreaker!!

Plus, you know me, I just want Sun and Lunar to fight because I think it'll be so dramatic to see!!!

[Bad end au 2] A sleepless night

‘I love the fact that I can look into your eyes and see nothing but lies…’

Two weeks before Dark Sun kickdrop Nexus for Sun.

The sound of dripping water disturbed Sun’s already fragile sleep.

The lily-colored animatronic groaned lazily on the bed, its metallic senses sinking deep into the soft quilt, struggling like a lazy child refusing to wake up.

The dim electric blue light covered Sun’s small, narrow room like a curtain, reflecting the solitude of its owner, when the most prominent thing in this room was only a few plum blossom petals that Molten had collected and placed on Sun’s desk.

Sun couldn’t sleep. The robot didn’t need to sleep, but closing his eyes and turning off the power still brought about a certain feeling of comfort. 

It was just that… The tasks that Father assigned piled up on top of each other, spinning Sun around like a pinwheel, to the point that even when Sun lay down, his interface system still popped up with painful notifications of things to do.

And today was one of those days when the restlessness Sun shouldn’t have felt in his chest suddenly became more intense, like the way the sensor in his abdomen contracted, rolling as if someone’s nails were scratching it, or the screws in his body suddenly became too heavy, too wobbly for Sun’s liking.

Putting his hand on his chest, Sun realized that his fan was too hot. The warmth radiating from the metal casing tickled Sun’s fingers, making him unconsciously press harder, as if testing whether the heat would melt his hand. 

His claws leisurely ran along the gold plating, slowly spreading up his neck, touching the red tassel and pressing down hard.

‘It’s hard to imagine what would happen if he squeezed harder.’

Sun thought absentmindedly, as his hands gently caressed and drew the joints of his neck. The cold hard steel, with its circular patterns and sturdy screws, held the wire he walked in one direction. He could almost feel the heat of the electricity running, the clocks and gears slowly turning to simulate the biological mechanism of a human.

The child whose neck he had broken the day before didn't have time to scream, nor did it shed a drop of blood. Just a stiff crunch of broken bones and a panicked wheeze, mixed with the tears of the small hand trying to reach Sun's arm before it stopped.

It was almost like a hug when Sun wrapped his arms around the child's neck. Soft, small and warm, and then there was no warmth left. Even as he ran his arms through the child's hair or held it completely in his arms, what he touched was still numb as ice, cold as winter seawater, and stiff as a machine.

Sun had kept the child like that for almost a day before Father came to make him throw it away. ‘It was so unhygienic’, that's what he was told when his Father threw the child into the blender.

‘Where do you think the fertilizer for my potted plants comes from, you stupid child.’ Creator pointed to the lush, mutated potted plants that grew twisted and twisted all over their lair, to the ancient tree beside the bridge that swirled with dark water below.

‘Soul for energy, flesh and blood for fertilizer, and bones for materials.’

‘It seems that despite all the modifications, you are still making me feel so disappointed…’

Creator’s voice hummed, and in that dark darkness, Sun was not alone. Something writhed and trembled, the cries of trapped remnants, cracked skulls staring intently at him—

Sun was released about a day later.

The blood was something sweet and dirty, it was slippery and sticky on Sun’s metal skin, dripping with every step he took.

And the smell was the worst. Like rotten pizza and rotten fish, Sun couldn’t wash away the smell even after using countless detergents.

Sun didn’t remember how long it took him to clean and dispose of all the meat stuck to his bell after he crawled out of the hole…

“Do you want to get out yet, my boy?”

The Creator’s voice was sweet as honey but full of venom. The brain looked down at the yellow animatronic covered in blood that was trembling non-stop, but still couldn’t drop something like a child’s skull in his arms.

“Then bring Lunar to me.”

Squirming to sit up, Sun didn’t think he could lie down any longer, as his processor was now repeating the image of maggots crawling on him for the nth time.

He really didn’t know what to do… Capture Lunar?

Lunar was much stronger than Sun… And the boy was smart too… There was no way Sun could fool his little brother.

And he didn’t want to…

The dilemma made him fiddle with the bandage wrapped around his hand. The red smelled rancid, but Sun still wrapped the soft fabric around his fingertips and pulled.

He would rather be destroyed again than to choose something like this.

In truth, Sun didn’t like any of ưhat his father had ordered.

It was wrong in every way, and Lunar was someone he never wanted to hurt.

But every time he thought like that, something was washed through his system, and the desire to obey his father grew stronger and stronger, making the morality Sun tried to cling on withered.

Sun didn’t understand why in the past, he could scream and curse at his father as much as possible but now, just a shake of the head from Creator was enough to make his 1 and 0 coded heart cringe.

Follow, follow, follow, that's what his head and code table whispered, it was almost like an addiction, the excitement and joy of completing what his father asked.

And Sun was always the one to follow, and no matter how much he resisted, he still couldn't fight back.

Because father is family.

And it's better to be a heartless dog than to make his father sad.

Maybe being broken would be easier to fix than this. Sun sighed, standing up. The wandering thoughts in his head made Sun wish that if there was something that could help him manage both, both pleasing Creator and keeping Lunar safe, then Sun would be satisfied.

His feet touched the cold floor, the sound of metal clanking as Sun carefully opened the door and stepped out.

The cold wind blew through him, blowing cold air onto Sun's rays.

The smooth whiteness flowed like silk into his vision. The silence was as bleak as a mirror, following the corner of Sun's feet. Father was probably out with his friend somewhere, or still busy in the lab. 

Sun alone, toiling, wandering, perhaps cleaning up again if he got too bored, though Sun usually tried not to. More or less, this was the only free time he had when Father wasn't sending him and Molten off to some unknown time and space to find something or deal with someone his brain desired.

He tried to hum a tune, but sadly, there was nothing in his head right now. The sound of running water grew louder, as he stepped onto the bridge. 

The echoes echoed along with the sound of the bells wrapped around Sun's wrists, bouncing off the steel on the bridge. The cool scent of water tickled his sensory system, caressing the golden animatronic’s back as the green leaves gently brushed against Sun’s light.

It was 4am, his internal clock system announced softly. The water flowed gently, bottomless, pitch black and glowing with chemical green. The flower petals drifted, occasionally a plum blossom petal would touch Sun’s shoulder, the playful lines on the hem of his skirt wrapped around his waist.

Sun was lost in thought, but there was really nothing on his mind.

It was just the familiar feeling of stagnation that even cleaning had lost its charm, not after he had scrubbed this lair more than a dozen times a day. The wind blew, the waves rolled, and everything drifted out of Sun’s control like some planet lost its orbit.

“So this is what you do when our esteemed father lets you rest?”

“Pathetic. Can’t you think of anything more helpful to our Creator, Sun?”

Sun didn’t even need to look. His audio processor could have picked up that arrogant and even-tempered tone anywhere.

“Oh, Goliath. Didn’t see you there? Heh… What business does our father have with me?”

The silence of the gears slowly turning against each other. A harsh growl answered, as rough as gravel being crushed into dust.

“… No.”

“So you came out here on your own?” Sun raised an eyebrow, his pearly eyes narrowing in amusement, ignoring the instinct that told him not to provoke the sleeping lion, or this time, a gorilla.

“Whoa! And I thought you only knew how to follow the Creator’s orders and turn off the power? How amazing.” 

“Congratulations, you finally have thoughts on your own.”

Sun was genuinely surprised by his counterpart’s actions, but the words he uttered under the influence of his lack of a personality chip made his words sound rather sarcastic.

And honestly, Sun didn’t care if Goliath decided to strangle him here.

“Shut your mouth. You’re the last person I want to hear that come out of your mouth. I’m not here to entertain an inferior thing like you.”

The giant animatronic, with a haughty and disdainful look, stared at him as if he were looking at an ant on the ground, or a puppy that had been hit by a car and the vet had long gone to sleep, leaving it to writhe and bleed on the side of the road to dead.

Sun just sighed, compared to what Goliath usually said, this could be considered the gentlest. The gorilla seemed to be in some sort of moody mood as well, as they too turned their gazes to the river like him, saying nothing, only their processors making clicking noises of recognition.

“So Goliath… If not because Father wants to see me… What are you doing here?”

The silence was a perfect chord for a tone-deaf man. Sun hadn’t meant to ask, but the restlessness that existed deep within his code made his mouth conjure up the huge elephant in the room.

Of course, the only response he got was a slap across the face, a ruffling of a cat’s fur.

“None of your business.” Their voices were mocking, and defensive.

They looked as if they would break his entire beam before throwing him into the water, and pulled him up. And did it again. Again and again because Sun’s metal is too heavy for him to swim.

But Goliath wasn’t his father. So Sun could still calmly ignore the hidden threats in the words of the one who treated silence as a competition and they always had to be the champion, and let his mind drift into nothingness, which Sun did quite a lot these days.

“Suit yourself.” Sun yawned. He suddenly felt a little cold, which was strange considering the fact that he was just a robot. The feeling of exhaustion from every bolt, which had been getting heavier lately…

Sun wasn’t the smartest, but even he himself  had figured out that being so close to the Wither Storm debris wasn’t a good thing.

“You shouldn’t be like this. I remember you used to be so much—”

There was something annoyed in Goliath’s voice, making Sun turn back to look at him in spite of himself.

Maybe it was anger, or nostalgia. Or maybe his fan was faulty. Sun didn't understand, nor could he remember how to handle it, as a burning sensation in his chest that made it hard to breathe came as quickly as it had gone, before being extinguished as coldly as Goliath's words had metaphorically nailed into Sun's head.

What did Goliath expect Sun to be?

Uptight, cowardly, too helpless in his own emotions?

Imprisoned by fear of everything?

Stupid to the end?

Sun didn't mean he'd gotten any smarter, but at least for now he felt fine. The feeling he never could enjoy since the day he was alive.

Guess his father was right.

Life was pain.

And the easiest way to end the pain was to become a machine again.

The comfort of not having to worry about anything but obeying his father's orders, it turned out to be more comfortable than he thought.

Still, in the face of the stupidity and meanness of the person who was always jealous and comparing themselves to him, Sun just smiled, his social AI chip calculating the most likely answers to lessen the gorilla's arrogance before flipping the table and throwing every answer it had predicted down the drain.

"Ah... I don't understand what you mean?"

And the orange light flickering in their eyes almost reminded him of a candy corn smoldering as if thinking about something, before regretfully turning away.

"Idiot."

And leave Sun alone, like some asshole that dudebag is.

I love all the recent Sun angst too! I'm feasting!

I have no theories of the moment but I just think it'd be neat and spicy if dark Sun and Sun kissed a little. If that doesn't happen at least let them have a tea sess because I think our Sun has all juice, sauce, a little bit of dressing.

So, I recently re-watched the episode of Sun and Moon first meeting with each other and was inspired to make this angsty sketch! (WIP)

I think I did Sun's facial expression and posing really well.

And while we're talking about Sun, I am adoring all Sun angst we've been getting lately. Love character development. I'm actually working on some pieces about D! Sun and Sun and Nexus and Sun.

It's honestly crazy that Sun hasn't fully snapped himself with all the trauma he's gone through! And I'm really curious what D! Sun has in plan for Sun. It's hard to tell if D! Sun really just plans to use Sun in some way or wants Sun to join him for some reason. Who knows! Guess we'll wait to see, but if any of you have any theories, please share! And bro, Nexus really thought he was about to snatch Sun with no problem. Like, no! Sun, at this point, is the one no one person gets to just touch. Nexus should have used a little more critical thinking than that.

Hi! Well, I’m not really sure about him eating the parts of me that he ripped off… but probably. I mean it would probably make the most sense if he didn’t really have anything else to eat, I guess…?

Yeah, he damaged most of my rays. I accidentally chipped the top right one though- that was before this whole thing happened and I hit it on a door… but I swear I’m fine. Even then I’m still worried about what’s going on between Moon and Bloodmoon…

*rubs hands maniacally*

Sorry I posted this when I was getting off work and proceeded to take a nap when I got home. but it worked out better for me cause now I have free reign to type this all out on my keyboard. I am here and ready to please. Just a reminder, this is a theory and a lot of speculation but I'm going to do my best to lay everything out.

This ended up long so I'm putting a little break.

So way back when at the final showdown moment between Sun and Eclipse V1 everything hinged on Sun casting a spell to throw Eclipse out of him. As we know, that did not go according to plan. Sun had zero magic experience and had to proceed to reverse Eclipse's own home-brew spell and recite it backwards to throw the interloper out. Eclipse, at the moment, was virtually impossible to remove. He integrated himself into Sun's mind, code, and soul so he couldn't be removed through any normal means.

Before Sun recited the final spell he and Eclipse had a conversation. He goaded Sun into killing him and tried getting Sun to see his side and asked Sun to let him back in, Sun actually seemed almost willing to do so. But that's not what happened and Sun cast the spell.

Sun "I'm sorry...we tried everything we could and there's no other alternative." Eclipse "I'll see you in Hell."

Those were Eclipse's V1 last words. After the entire situation Moon told Sun he did the spell wrong and either Eclipse is banished or he's somewhere crumpled up lost in time and space etc. etc. There's been a huge theory that Eclipse V1 is still alive. When BloodMoon was first introduced he was this incorporeal red spirit thing that was around solely because of spite. So we know the coded souls can survive without a body for a period of time so long as they have enough spite and determination. It was stated he couldn't stay in that state for very long though so Lunar went and got him a nano body. Using what we know, Eclipse V1 can survive outside of Sun's body for a period of time before he gets a vessel or dissipates. The entire crux of my theory however hinges on the fact I think Eclipse was sent somewhere. Eclipse was cast into Hell, his own form of Hell. What would his form of Hell be? I'll explain but first let me segue.

So going fast forward a bit. Not talking about Eclipse for now, putting a pin in it, but this is an important piece of the puzzle.

When Moon was locked into his own Mind, he started in an empty world and had to travel through many 'floors' His mind was was a complicated maze, maybe from KC meddling, but he finally ended with him finding his inner sanctum. Which was ironically the Destiny Island from Kingdom Hearts. Moon spent a year in his own mindscape limbo. Still can't get over that's it's Destiny Island, the place of beginnings and it was Moon's end.

We also got to see Earth's own inner sanctum was a beach with tropical beach house. I don't think it's from any specific thing other then it's a chill tropical place representing Earth's inner peace. She likes to be connected to nature and it's reflected in her mind palace. Take a look at FC and Stitchwraith, there was also the mindscape of the Mario Sunshine world that Stitchwraith brought FC too, to keep him calm. Each mindscape is implied to be unique and special but so far I've noticed each one has been a beach. His I think was more of an artificial mindscape made by Stitchwraith to give FC a temporary safe place.

Then when Solar created his device to go into the mindscape to help Lunar and Earth we saw that his own inner mind palace as that one TV room from Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Funny enough, Lunar did view a very important memory there and we got the juicy sauce on that.

Then with Lunar, while I'm not 100% certain what we witnessed was his mindscape but we did see usually he's in a foresty-grassy area. It's always night and a huge moon is cast over him. I think that might be his own mind palace. Gemini whenever they need to communicate with him in dreams / via telepathy that's where they typically meet.

I do think it's funny most of the mindscapes revealed have been beaches.

So moving from mindscapes, Remember Forgor? Earth's coded mental block taking the physical form of a silly eraser in her mindscape? Lunar and Solar worked together to go into her mind to help her stop the mental blocks in judgement. Forgor was actively harming Earth.

As we know (I just found out heehee, Sun got tortured omgeee happy days! happy day! ) Sun now also is implied to have an entity also stuck in his head. We're not seeing the same dramatic effects we did on Earth besides the fact Sun does seem more tired, more stressed, and overall his emotions just seem more muted? He was found mumbling to himself in the ball-pit clearly going through it.

Part of my theory (AND HOPE) is Sun falls into a coma, deep sleep. The point of the entity is to whittle Sun down until he's nothing but a compliant husk for the Creator to use. Sun is not someone who would ever cave to torture, mental or physical. So the coma is a highly likely result of the Creator's meddling (along with Nexus and Dark Sun's meddling).

The way the story is going I'm assuming they're going to need Lunar to go into Sun's mind.

So doubling back to Eclipse. He was sent to his own Hell, his words have power and spells backfire with intent. Sun even in the final moments with Eclipse V1, didn't want to kill him.

So i think Eclipse was sent deeper into Sun's mind. We have yet to see what happened to Eclipse V1 nor have we ever seen what Sun's inner mindscape is like.

Like hear me out.

Eclipse was sent to his own Hell, Sun's inner most mind, and there he's probably dealing with the Creator's entity. Imagine how fun it would be for Lunar to need to go into Sun's head to permanently shut down the thing and there Lunar meets Eclipse. His Eclipse. The one that hurt him.

But Lunar who's gone through so much, will put aside his own hurt and trauma to set aside his differences with Eclipse just to help Sun. That would be an incredible lesson and show of Lunar's character growth and maturity if he's able to save Sun. Lunar looks up to and loves Sun a lot, when he was scared after watching Earth get torn apart by BloodMoon he ran into Sun's arms. It would be wonderful to see the roles reversed and Lunar gives Sun aid and comfort.

I also just love Lunar and Sun interactions I think they're both just adorable and I love seeing their silly antics.

Also I have no idea what Sun's inner mindscape would look like.

It's late so I'm wrapping this up. I also want to get this theory out before Oct 1st. Heehee I did it.

I'm currently sitting on the biggest most cracked theory on Eclipse V1 right now that involves Sun too but I won't spill unless someone asks me 😊🫶

Okay, I am one of the people who sees Sun Dying as the boring option. No hate, or anger if people don't agree.

But it's like people said, Everyone else has died. The fact that he DIDN'T And hopefully won't is so much more interesting to me. Like otherwise sun just becomes just ANOTHER statistic. I just want more for him

I still want him to get royally fucked up so we can get some good angst. Or even for everyone to think that he is dead, but he ain't so you still get that angst.

But i don't want him to die. I want him to live with that trauma and survive. Be stronger for it!
