"Tae!" you called as you put on your shoes and grabbed your backpack. "Yes?" he replied as he walked down the stairs, ruffling his hair. "I'm off to school now... do you mind picking me up today?" you asked and looked at your boyfriend with pleading eyes. "Yes," he replied, and you sighed. "O-okay, see you later then, your lunch is on the kitchen counter." You gave him a small smile before walking out. 

You were used to his short answers and cold tone. Sometimes you'd question if he even loved you, but you'd quickly pushed those kinds of thoughts out of your head. You knew Taehyung had always had trouble expressing his feelings. It was rare to see him smile or hear him laugh.

But you loved him either way. You waited at the bus stop for the next bus. Classes would start in about an hour, and you weren't looking forward to bumping into Yerin or Jiho. They often boasted about their boyfriends and how sweet they were. How he'd take them to school, come to pick them up and take them somewhere nice for lunch after classes, how he would buy them almost anything they wanted. 

Taehyung often bought you stuff too, but that's not what you want from him. The only thing you wanted was for him to show you how much he loved you. Kiss you, cuddle with you, take you on dates more often. When they asked about him, and the things he did for you... you never had much to say.

Because of that, the girls wouldn't believe you. Claiming that you're lying or saying that to avoid being left out.

The bus finally arrived, and you hopped on, plugging in your earphones to listen to some music.

You arrived at school and hopped off. You pulled your phone out of your pocket at the sudden feeling of vibrations. You smiled when you saw the notification was from Tae.

Tae:

Thanks for the food.

"Y/n! What're you smiling about." You looked up to see Jiho. You turned off your phone and placed put back into your pocket. "Oh, Jiho. I was just reading a text from Tae." You said, and she let out a laugh. "You mean that non-existent boyfriend of yours?" she asked, and you rolled your eyes. "He's real, okay? If you don't believe me, it's fine. Anyway, how are things with Wonwoo?" you asked and frowned. "We broke up a while ago..." she said, and you nodded.

"Hope you find someone better." You said and walked away.

You let out a sigh of relief as the sound of the bell filled your ears. Your classes for today were finally over. You packed your books and walked out of the lecture room. "Y/n, wait up let's walk out together." You turned and saw Yerin. "Oh, okay then." Why are they acting like my friends today? You asked yourself. "How're things with Daehyun?" you said, starting a conversation, and she smiled. "Great! He's not picking me up today, but a friend of mine is. Why don't you meet him!" she said, and you nodded. You both walked out and saw a familiar face looking at his phone.

"Jimin?" you asked,  and the pink-haired male looked up. "Oh! Hey Y/n." he smiled at you and waved. "You two know each other?" Yerin asked, and Jimin nodded. "Yeah, her boyfriend Taehyung is my best friend." He said, and Yerin gasped. "You mean her non-existent boyfriend?" she asked, and Jimin looked at her with an evident frown on his face. "What do you mean by that?" he asked, and Yerin shrugged her shoulders. "He doesn't seem to be real." She said before opening the door and getting in. "Bye Y/n!" she waved, and you waved back.

"It was nice seeing you, Jimin! I need to go." You said before making your way to the bus stop. Jimin stood there, completely perplexed. He shook his head and hopped into his car. 

After dropping Yerin off at her apartment, Jimin decided to give Taehyung a call. 

"Tae!" he said as soon as the call was connected. "Yeah?" he responded. There was the sound of pages turning in the background, indicating Taehyung was busy working. "I suggest you pick up y/n tomorrow," Jimin said, and the sound of pages turning stopped. "And why is that?"

 "Bro, she talks about you for sure, but her friends don't believe her! I picked up one of her friends today, and when she asked how we knew each other, I told her I was Taehyungs best friend." Jimin explained.

"How is that an issue?" Taehyung asked, and Jimin groaned. "Yerin, the girl I picked up today was like: "You mean her non-existent boyfriend?" That's the issue!" Jimin exclaimed. "So they don't think I'm real?" Taehyung asked, and Jimin sighed. "YES!" he exclaimed. "I mean, imagine never seeing the boyfriend your friend talks about so much, I'd think they'd be lying too," Jimin said. Taehyung let out a sigh. "Thanks for telling me, Chim." 

Taehyung ended the call and stared at nothing. 'Is that why she always asks me to pick her up?' He asked himself. He let out another sigh and ran his fingers through his hair before going through the paperwork he was busy with before Jimin called.

You walked down the stairs, fixing your hair. "Good morning, baby," you looked up to see Taehyung. "Oh, morning. You're down early," you said. Usually, Taehyung would only come down when you were about to leave. 

"Yup," he responded. You walked towards the door, and Taehyung frowned. "You're not going to eat before you leave?" he asked, and you hummed in response. "Not feeling hungry,"  you said, grabbing your backpack and double-checking that everything you needed was there. 

You were about to put on your shoes when you stopped when Taehyung began to speak. "What time will your classes finish today?" he asked walking, towards you. "Uh, 2 p.m. why?" you asked, and he shrugged.

"Just asking." He said before pulling you into a hug and placing a kiss on your forehead. "I'm sorry, I'm not like other boyfriends..." he said, and you smiled. "It's okay, you're Taehyung, my boyfriend, and I like you the way you are." You said and smiled.

"Now I need to go." You tiptoed and pecked his cheek. "See you later."

For some reason, today felt like a drag. You were barely halfway through the day, and you were already feeling exhausted. "Y/n!"  you turned to see Jiho, and you groaned. You weren't in the mood to talk to her.

"Yerin told me that her friend is best friends with the Taehyung guy. So he's real?" Jiho asked, causing you to roll your eyes. "I told you he is. You guys just didn't believe me."

You said, and she chuckled. "So when can I meet him?" she asked, and you sent her a weird look. "Why?" you asked, and she smiled. "I just want to see him... I'm your friend after all." She said, and you scoffed. "When did we become friends?" You muttered before walking to your next class.

Taehyung sat in the car as he looked through his gallery. In about 10 minutes, you'd be done with your classes.  After what Jimin had told him yesterday, he decided to pick you up. Students who had finished already grew curious as to whom the owner of the fancy car that parked in front was. 

Taehyung opened the door and got out as he realised it was now 2 o'clock. He put his phone in his back pocket. He leaned against the car and crossed his arms as he waited for you to come.

You stretched your arms and let out a whine. The day was finally done. You began to make your way to the exit when you overheard a few conversations between a group of girls. 

"Who was that? He was so handsome..." "I wonder who he's here for?" "Is he even real?" "I've never seen him around campus." 

You wondered what was going on. There were more students by the entrance today, and they all seemed to be talking about the same person.

"Oh my gosh y/n!"  you turned your head to see Jiho and Yerin, and you flashed them a fake smile. "Y/n! Did you see that guy! He's so handsome!" Jiho said, and you shook your head. "No. I just got out of class, so I have no clue who you're talking about." You said. "Come!" she said and grabbed your arm, dragging you outside. 

"That guy!" Jiho said and pointed in the direction. You looked only for your eyes to widen. There he was, your boyfriend. He seemed to be looking for something. Then it clicked he was here for you.

"Tae!" you exclaimed, causing the male to look in your direction. You wriggled your arm out of Jiho's grasp and ran up to him and gave him a hug. 

"Is this why you asked what time I was finishing?" you asked, looking up at him, and he nodded, wrapping his arm around your waist hugging you back.

"Who is this Y/n?" Yerin asked, walking up to you with Jiho not far behind. "Hi! I'm Jiho! Y/n's friend." She said and stuck her hand out for him to shake. You frowned and turned your head, causing Taehyung to look at you and back at her. "I'm hungry. Let's go and find somewhere to eat," he said, ignoring the girl who awkwardly put her down.

"Oh, by the way. This is Taehyung, my boyfriend. Tae, these girls are Jiho and Yerin. We aren't really friends they are just people I talk to here and there." You explained, remembering Yerin's question earlier. 

"There, you finally met my boyfriend. We'll be off now, bye." You said, getting into the car and closing the door.  Taehyung looked at the girls.

 "See, I'm not non-existent. "

You were struggling to hold back your tears. You didn't want to cry. "Why the fuck are you crying?"  you asked yourself when you felt a tear slip out of your eye.

"I can't help it,"  you whispered to yourself, letting your tears fall one after another.

"y/n?"  you froze. "y/n, are you okay?"  the voice asked, knocking on the door.

"I'm fine, Kook,"  you said, trying to hide the fact that you were crying. "y/n, come on, please open the door,"  he asked, gently knocking on the door once again.

You stood up and vigorously wiped your tears, trying to get rid of any evidence that you were crying, before unlocking the door. You opened the door and looked at  your boyfriend. He gave you a soft smile and pulled you into his arms. "It's okay. You can let it all out."

And you did. You didn't stop yourself from falling apart in his arms. Jungkook rubbed your back as you continued to cry. "There you go, let it all,"  he whispered.

When you had calmed down a bit, you lifted your head from his chest and looked at Jungkook.

"Jungkook," you said softly, and he hummed in response, stroking your head. "I'm sorry. For making your shirt wet," you apologised, and he shook his head.

"It's okay, don't apologise," he said. Jungkook had an idea of what was probably going on in your mind. You didn't want him to see you like this. You were probably angry with yourself for letting your emotions get the best of you.

"I didn't want to cry, Jungkook, yet no matter how hard I try not to, I still do," you said, and Jungkook just listened. "I thought I was okay. I thought my mother's harsh words wouldn't affect me anymore, but they still do,"  you said, tears brimming in your eyes again, and Jungkook just drew you closer to his body.

"It's okay to cry, baby,"  he said, stroking your head as you began to cry again. "You're allowed to fall apart a little."

"y/n?" Taehyung asked as he knocked on your office door. "Not now, Tae. I'm busy," you replied as you typed away on your computer. Taehyung let out a sigh before mumbling an okay.

Taehyung missed you. He did. You had become distant ever since your boss started sending you many documents to edit and look over. You had been so caught up in your work you started to be less affectionate with him. All he wanted was for you to take a break from work and relax with him in the comfort of your bed.

He understood this was important, but... he just felt you were overworking yourself. You'd come into bed late and leave early morning. You'd skip most of your meals if he didn't end up forcing you to eat.

Taehyung sat on the couch with a frown on his face as he surfed through Netflix, trying to find something to watch. You had gotten out of your office. You had finalized the last of the documents meaning you were done for a while.

"Hi hyung," you heard Taehyung say as you walked into the living room. "Sup Taehyung," you heard Jimin's voice fill the space. He must be on speaker. "How are you?" Jimin asked. "I'm okay, just feeling a bit... I don't know," he said, causing you to grow curious. "Is something wrong?" "It's just y/n has been so caught up in her work we haven't had a day to ourselves. We also haven't been very affectionate with each other for some reason," he said, causing you to frown.

"I remember you telling me her boss has given documents to work on. Is she still busy with them?"

"Yeah. She's been working really hard, but I miss her randomly kissing me, and when I'd ask her what it was for, she'd shrug and say no reason," he said with a chuckle.

A small smile appeared on your lips before being replaced by a frown. You didn't realize you'd been so caught up in your work that you'd been neglecting him. "I gotta go. Text later?" "I'll text you later then," Taehyung said, pulling you out of your thoughts. "Bye." Taehyung ended the call. He stood up from the couch and turned around, only for his eyes to slightly widen.

"y/n?" he asked, surprised to see you there. You wasted no time that to run into your boyfriend's arms. Taehyung was confused. Usually, you'd be in your office. "Is there something wrong?" he asked, trying to unwrap your arms around him only for you to tighten your grip. "No, I just wanted to hug you," you said, causing him to slowly wrap his arms around you.

Taehyung rested his chin on your head and smiled. He was glad to have you in his arms. "I'm done," you said, causing him to raise a brow. "What do you mean?" "I finalized the documents. I'm free to do whatever you want for now," you said.

Taehyung quickly unwrapped his arms for your body. He cupped your cheeks and looked into your eyes. "Really?" he asked, and you nodded before pressing your lips against his. Taehyung smiled into the kiss before sliding an arm around your waist, pulling you closer.

"Is that my shirt?" You look up from your laptop to see Jungkook leaning against to door frame of your study. "Oh, when did you come home?" you asked, looking back at your laptop, completely ignoring his question and averting your attention back to your work.

"Not too long ago," he replied. He walked towards the desk and stared at your figure. Particularly at the shirt you were wearing. "That's my shirt, isn't it?" He said, asking about the shirt again. You let out a sigh and looked at your boyfriend. You playfully rolled your eyes. "Yes, it is, and what about it," you tease.

"Stand up," he says. "Why should I?" You ask, looking back at your laptop. "Stand up, baby," he says, once again, and this time, you comply. "There, I'm standing," you grumble and Jungkook smiles. He walks towards you and pulls on into his arms.

"You look so cute in my shirt,"  he says, and you look up at him. "You're bothering me, Kookie. I need to finish my assignment," you say with a pout. Jungkook placed a gentle kiss on your lips, and you couldn't help but smile into the kiss. 

It had been a while since you and Jungkook had done anything intimate. Being so busy with work and school gave you two very little time to relax and enjoy one another's presence. 

You slowly disconnected your lips, leaving a little space between the two of you. Your lips softly brushed against his.

"Wear my clothes more often, and I don't mean only shirts," he whispered, gently stroking your hair. You only give him a soft smile before reconnecting your lips. Jungkook hummed into the kiss, pulling you closer to his body.

Jungkook tangled his fingers in your hair as he deepened the kiss. The heat in your cheeks rose as Jungkook's tongue touched yours. The kiss became firmer and determined. Some how Jungkook was able to whisper an "I love you" in between the kiss.

The two of you finally stopped to get some air. You stared at each other, panting, trying to catch your breaths. Your bodies were still so close together, fingers still tangled in each other's hair. 

"I love you too, baby," you whisper, and he smiles before gently connecting your lips once again. 

The assignment you were working on was no longer on your mind. The only thing that was occupying your mind was the feeling of your boyfriend's warm and soft lips, against yours.

You stood outside of your best friend's apartment with an evident pout of your face. "Come on Jungkook! How long does it take you to open the freaking door!?" you exclaimed.

"I swear if I didn't leave my spear key at home I would've just welcomed myself in!" you mumbled to yourself.

Normally, Jungkook would've opened the door by now, or you would've welcomed yourself in. But you cause you left your key at home and Jungkook had told you to wait. You were left standing outside his apartment; not waiting for him patiently.

"I'm coming!" he said from the other side of the door. You let an exaggerated sigh of relief as the sound of jingling keys and locks unlocking was heard.

The door was opened but quickly closed as soon as he stepped out. Jungkook stood in front of the door, holding a blindfold in his and the door nob in the other. "Here wear this," he said extending his hand and you hesitantly took the blindfold.

"What's this for? I thought we were just going to ramyeon and laugh our single asses off?" you said as he helped you tie the blindfold. "I decided that this year, will be different," he said before opening the door and leading you into his apartment.

Unaware of your surroundings you slowly walked in, despite Jungkook guiding you from behind. "Jungkook I swear this better not be something bad," you warned and he let out a laugh.

"It's not, don't fret yourself," he said.

The two came to an instant stop. "We have arrived at our destination  y/n, take off your blindfold. You did as you were told and leisurely took off the blindfold.

Once it was off, your eyes slowly adjusted to the room's lighting before you gasped at the eye-popping sight at the preceding you.

"Jungkook..." you muttered. You were in flabbergasted. "What's all this?" you softened as you cast an eye over the foreroom.

The area had been decorated well. Multiple red roses were spread across the area with some petals on the carpeted floor. "Happy Valentine's Day y/n," he breathed, giving you timid smile. "Do like it?" he questioned, sounding a tad bit doubtful. You nodded before pulling him into a warm embrace. "Thank you; however I'd like to know what all this is for..."

"Honestly, I'm going to completely truthful with you, I love you, more than a best friend or family, and I've been loving you like for who knows since when?" he admitted and you smiled. "Today, I was hoping to make this year's valentine's different. By asking you to be my valentine and hopefully my girlfriend as well."

You were beyond delighted. "So will you?" he hesitantly enquired. You smiled and vigorously nodded your head. Jungkook's eyes widened. "Really?" "Of course you dummy!" you exclaimed with a laugh.

Jungkook tightened his grip around your waist, pulling you closer to his body. "Happy valentines day y/n," he whispered.

Jimin fell to the floor. "Good job, guys. You can take a break," the choreographer said, and they tiredly cheered. "Dang, this routine is no joke," Hoseok said as he rolled over to grab his water bottle.

"I hope ARMY will like it," Jungkook said, and they all agreed. "Damn. You guys must've worked hard," they all looked at the opened door to see you standing there, holding a plastic bags.  "Hi baby," Jimin tiredly greeted you with a small wave.

"What you have there?" Jin asked as you walked in and placed the plastics in a corner. "I figured you guys would've been hungry after practice, so I went out to get something to eat and drink," all their ears perked up.

Suddenly, they all regained energy as they stood up and rushed to the plastic bags causing you to laugh.

As they all grabbed a lunchbox, Jimin made his way to you, wanting to greet you with a hug, but you pushed him away. "Ew~ I don't want to hug your sweaty body!" you joked, causing him to playfully roll his eyes. "Just come here," he said, and you pulled into a hug either way.

"Thank you for bringing food," he whispered before placing a kiss on your forehead.

"Thank you y/n!" Taehyung and Jungkook said as they dug into their food. "No problem-" the sound of ringing filled the room. You pulled your phone out of your back pocket.

"Hello?" you asked. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry. I was dropping off Food for Jimin and the boys. I'll be there in a bit," you cut the call and gave Jimin a quick peck on his lips. "I gotta go. Jennie needs me to help her pick out baby clothes," you said. You were about to leave when he grabbed you by your wrist.

"Let me walk you out," he said. "I'll be back. No one touches my food," he sent a warning to the members before gently pushing you out of the practice room. "Jimin's so lucky to have y/n," he heard Yoongi say.

"When is Jennie due?" he asked as the two of you made your way to the elevator. "In about a month," you said, and he nodded. "Thanks again for bringing us food. It must've been expensive, I'll give-" you cut him off with a kiss. "Don't worry about it, Jimin," you said. "I'm going on my own from here. Jin might make his way to your food," you joked, and Jimin nodded.

"Stay safe, okay?" he said as he pulled into a hug, and you smiled. "I will. Love you," you said. "Love you too," he whispered. You walked into the elevator and waved as the door closed. Once the doors closed and you were on your way down, Jimin broke into a smile.

"Sometimes... I wonder how I even landed you," he said to himself. He truly means it. You were kind, caring, supportive, understanding, smart- absolutely perfect. "But I'm glad I did."
