Stop putting your OC in the X reader tag. We’re here to read about us not you or your character. If I wanted to read x oc I’d search it
Guys. Stop tagging your OC stories as X reader. It’s hard to sift through and I don’t go to the x reader tag for OC’s I don’t care about .

Let's say it.
Writing a "x reader" and then adding a description on the appearence of the reader is doing the opposite of what you wanna do.
I'm precisely talking about ghost x reader fics, male, gn or female almost everyone does that.
If you want to do it, there's no problem but at least specify it somewhere. If it's because, you yourself, look like this, then specify it's a self-insert.
I personally think adding description cuts the vibe of the fic but also does not respect "reader's rule".
It does concern when you add about the skin color, the color of your lips, cheeks, all those kinds of things. It can be hard to take it out of your vocabulary as i myself made those mistakes before, but for sure it just does not include poc people, which is not fair for them let's be honest.
Besides that, the reader is supposed to be inclusive but also neutral. Not talking about gender (you should still specify it!), but about the appearance.
It is quite unnerving and displeasant when you've been reading the fic since a moment then you get hit by the "woman with a curve" or the "you were a bulky man".
It feels like, when you're reading a story, you're in the middle of it and suddenly they describe their main character's appearance. It quickly ruins the vibe of the story.

Can you do one where the reader have ed pls(with adam)💓
Imperfect
Adam Sackler x Chubby Reader
Trigger Warnings: talks about bulimia and insecurities
A/N: You sent several asks so I just combined them all into one.
Summary: Reader has an eating disorder and feels inferior to their sister. Adam helps comfort you.
The straps of your short, black dress dig into your back. Any ounce of confidence you had when you left your apartment immediately dissipated when you entered your parent's home. It was a simple dinner party and your parent's introduction to your boyfriend, Adam. You weren't even planning on talking to her, but there she was—your sister.
She's always been perfect. The perfect student, the perfect daughter, the perfect smile, the perfect body. She was great and you couldn't deny it. You'd been so close as children, but high school was the beginning of the end of your relationship. The constant comparisons between you two from boys at school to your own parents sent you spiraling. You've been a bigger girl your whole life and high school sent you headfirst into bulimia. You got so thin just to 'compete' with her, but it never really mattered--everyone still chose her. Now you were healthy again and Adam always praised your curves. Seeing her again brought up all those feelings and more all at once.
You make eye contact with her across the room. She waves with a big smile on her face. You wave back, only mustering a meek smile.
"Omg! I haven't seen you in forever!" Your sister squeals as she hugs you. Her perfect dimples poke through her cheeks.
"Yeah, life's been pretty busy," you say flatly.
"Oh for sure, my law firm has been…" Her words fade away. You look around at your parents and the guests. Everyone seems enthralled with her. No one ever cared when you talked about your work, mostly because you weren't a big-shot attorney like her. Time feels like it's moving slowly as your sister speaks. You imagine yourself in a Michael Bay movie, running away from this whole party with fiery explosions behind you.
"Who's this?" Your sister asks, gesturing towards your boyfriend.
"Oh, um, this is my boyfriend, Adam," you say weakly. Your head feels like it's spinning.
"It's so nice to meet you! How long have you guys been dating? I swear she never mentioned you when we talked." We haven’t talked! Adam removes his comforting hand from your hips to shake your sister's.
"Like a year, I think," Adam responds for you. Your parents chuckle at his joking uncertainty.
"Well, it's so nice to meet you, Adam! I can't wait to get to know you better." You roll your eyes so hard that they almost get stuck in the back of your head. Adam looks pleased, though. He gives her the same goofy smile he gives you. Why are you looking at her like that? You just met her! Your heart pounds as you stare at both of them. Some part of you knows that you're being irrational, but a much larger part still feels upset. Your eyes get the familiar sting of tears, but you use all your might to push them back. Your bottom lip starts to quiver, and you know it’s only a matter of seconds before you lose it.
"Babe, I'm gonna head to the bathroom. I'll be right back," you say, beelining to the guest restroom. You look back for a second as you walk, your sister is laughing at one of Adam's undoubtedly funny jokes. Her hand grazes his biceps every so slightly. He doesn't even back out of her touch like he usually does with girls. He likes her, doesn't he?
The minute you make it into the bathroom, tears rush down your face. You meet your gaze in the mirror, your eyes tinged red. You hold your hand over your mouth to quiet the sobs, practically suffocating yourself. Why do I have to be like this? Heavy breaths fill the air as you slide to the floor. You want to purge every thought, every feeling, every sentence your sister ever spoke from your body. The toilet sits idly in front of you, goading you into action. Luckily a loud knock at the door disrupts your unsavory thoughts.
“Hey kid, you okay?” Adam’s muffled voice makes it through the door. You think about lying, but there’s no point. He’d know you’re lying just from the sound of your voice.
“No,” you reply shakily. The hinges on the door squeak slightly as Adam quickly enters. His brown eyes soften when he sees you huddled on the ground. He sits down next to you, pressing a kiss on your forehead.
“I’m sorry, I’m acting like such a baby right now.”
“Don’t be sorry. What’s going on?” Adam shifts to face you.
“I-I don’t know. Seeing my sister for the first time in so long just brought up so many feelings. She’s always been the one everyone likes, and it’s obvious you like her too,” you sob. Confusion marks Adam’s face.
“Yeah, I like her. She’s nice enough. It’s not the same way I like you, though. You know that.”
“But why? She’s prettier, smarter, more ambitious, and less insecure. She’s twice the person I could ever be. Why choose me?”
Adam grabs your chin, pulling your face towards his. “Because I love you. I don’t fucking know her. So what if you think she’s perfect, I guarantee you no one is. She probably has a secret third nipple or an extra toe.” You burst into laughter at the thought.
“Nobody’s perfect. I’m not, and you’re not, but that’s not the point. I love you even though you suck at cooking. You’re not perfect, but you’re mine. You love me even though I annoy the shit out of you every day. I’m not perfect, but I’m yours.”
“You said you liked my cooking,” you joke, hitting Adam on the arm.
“I say a lot of things.” You both laugh at his stupid joke. Adam swipes his thumbs across your cheeks. His eyes look lovingly into yours.
“Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me, it’s my job as a semi-decent boyfriend.” Adam grabs your hands and lifts you to your feet. You look in the mirror to see how badly your makeup is smeared. Mascara had barely streaked your face after your crying session. I guess it really is waterproof. Adam brings a tissue to your face, wetting with his tongue before wiping off the excess mascara.
“Ew.” You swat away his hand in disgust.
“Shut up, I’m trying to help.” You relent and let Adam clean your face off. Watching him take care of you cements how much you love him. The way his eyebrows furrow in concentration makes your heart melt.
“I love you, Adam.”
“Of course you do.” Adam places a kiss on your lips. “Do you wanna stay?”
“Yeah, I’m okay now.” You take a deep breath in. Adam throws away the tissue and grabs your hand.
“Ready?”
“Ready.”

I watch this video at least twice a day! So much talent all in one and I agree with the smashing young Cab Calloway he is definitely fine as wine
The blessed time of Cab Calloway of his orchestra and his extraordinary dancers.
(Put on sound)
It ticks me off sometimes when Y/N doesn’t mind her business or respect boundaries… like if they don’t want you coming into the room stop trying to force your way in etc it’s hella cringe
