I saw a fanfic on AO3 where the author said that they don't care if they cross boundaries and that it's "not their problem if people don't like certain things". THIS IS NOT OK!!!! IT'S NOT YOUR CHARACTER AND YOU DON'T GET A SAY IN WHAT YOU'RE ALLOWED TO DO WITH THEM OR NOT!!!! IF A CONTENT CREATOR SAYS THAT SHIPPING AND NSFW ARE NOT OK, RESPECT THAT!!!! DON'T DO IT ANYWAYS JUST BECAUSE "they will probably never see it". THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT DOESN'T EXIST!!!! EVEN IF THE CREATOR NEVER SEES IT, THAT DOESN'T INVALIDATE THEIR FEELINGS OR BOUNDARIES!!!! DON'T MISGENDER PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU'RE "uncomfortable with the it/it's pronouns" OR "neopronouns are weird and difficult to use in writing so I won't use them"!!!
