GUYS- I think I cracked the code! I think I know how Bo-Katan is gonna appear in The Bad Batch and how it ties into the Mandalorian Purgeđł
Iâll put it below because itâs kinda longđ
So, I was picking apart The Bad Batch trailers (as crazy people like me do) and I was trying to figure out what planet this was:

I was thinking it might be Alderaan, but thereâs not really a big motive for the Empire (or the Republic) to occupy Alderaan. For all they knew, Bail Organa was compliant like every other senator. If they were suspicious, they would have done something much sooner than 0BBY.
So, what other planets have snow, tall trees, mountains, and frozen-over lakes? KROWNEST!

We saw in Star Wars Rebels that Clan Wren lived on Krownest and they were led by Ursa Wren, who made a brief appearance alongside Bo-Katan in The Clone Wars season 7.

If this part of The Bad Batch takes place after the Empire was formed, then it would make sense for TBB alongside the Imperials to try to occupy Mandalore and other Mandalorian planets. If you think about it, Mandalore is perfect to try to occupy because they were under new leadership (Bo-Katan, who was inexperienced with leading an entire planet or a system of planets), they were previously neutral in the Clone Wars, and Mandalorians are notoriously dangerous people to be against and they would be valuable allies. Then I remembered that there was a leak of the description for a Hasbro Bo-Katan black series action figure. The description says that âshe refused to align with the Empireâs occupation of Mandaloreâ and that the action figure was a replica of her from The Bad Batch show...

So if she refused to join the Empire, maybe thatâs the cause of the Mandalorian Purge. Bo even said she fought in the Purge. Itâs been mentioned several times in The Mandalorian, but weâve never gotten a time frame or many details. We do know that the Purge was at the Empireâs hands, though.
But what does that have to do with The Bad Batch? Okay, I think TBB was sent to help the Imperials occupy Krownest, but Bo-Katan resisted, resulting in the Mandalorian Purge. As we know, Jango Fet, the clone template, was a Mandalorian foundling. Itâs widely accepted that the clones speak Mandoâa, so is it bold to assume they have loyalties to Mandalore? Maybe TBB decided to aid the Mandalorians on Krownest and fight on their side. However, we know that the Mandalorians lost to the Empire, and maybe this is how TBB diesđ
The Mandalorians lose, Krownest is occupied by the Empire, Ursa Wren makes a deal with them, and Tristan Wren goes on to be a Mandalorian who serves the Empire (as Fenn Rau calls them). Perhaps Bo-Katan leaves before the Empire can catch her, running away with Clan Kryze and surviving. This might also explain how Bo-Katan referred to Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian. When explaining the plan, Bo says âKoska, Fennec, Dune, myself, disembark...â She uses Koska and Fennecâs first names but she calls Cara by her last name. We know that she is close with Koska, which explains why she calls her by her first name, but she must be familiar with Fennec as well. Fennec is gonna be in The Bad Batch so maybe theyâll interact with one another.
If youâre still reading, what did you think? Iâd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or constructive criticism!
May the Force be with you!

Maul realizing he really did come that close to actually dying:

Him touching his neck after đđđ
i sometimes forget that fives is actually canonically dead because iâve made such a convincing fix-it au in my head where he isnât Â
If Kanan Jarrus isnât a Mandalorian, then explain this:

When Darth Vader hits Kananâs pauldron with his lightsaber, it doesnât damage the material, it just strips the paint off of it. From just this info alone, it seems like Kananâs pauldron is made of Beskar.
Every other material looks roughly like this when a lightsaber strikes it with that amount of pressure (I couldnât find a picture of that scene from Rebels where Ahsoka was touching the marks left by fifth brotherâs lightsaber):

But Kananâs pauldron isnât indented where the lightsaber struck it, itâs pretty smooth and even as you can see down below:

We know that beskar is lightsaber-proof from the Mandalorian

So is it a stretch to speculate that Kananâs season 1/2 armor is beskar?
I personally think that his eye covering in season 3/4 is made from beaker as well, possibly even made from his season 1/2 armor.
Whatâs crazy about the eye covering is that it has Jaig Eyes painted on it. Jaig eyes were a Mandalorian symbol of honor worn by warriors. Why would Kanan appropriate Mandalorian culture?
Also, Kanan knew to ask Fenn Rau about the Darksaber. Maybe he didnât know exactly what it was or the story behind it, but he knew it was a lightsaber, and a Mandalorian one at that.

Seeing as Kanan was taken into the order as a toddler, itâs impossible to know where he was originally from or who his parents are. I couldnât find anything that indicated Kananâs home planet. I think itâs possible that he was a Mandalorian by blood but now weâll never know.
rex and ahsoka are dave filoni's beloved OC's and if he wants to put them in every project he works on while singlehandedly saving the star wars franchise we should all let him
If youâd like to read my thoughts about Grand Admiral Thrawn in the Ahsoka show and everything, Iâll put it below :)
So itâs obvious that Thrawn is going to be a major villain in the Ahsoka series. But, will he will be in multiple Star Wars projects?
My dad thinks that Thrawn is going to be a Thanos-type character, appearing in multiple projects across several years, behind everything and in the shadows, leading up to a big finish. This makes a bit of sense, assuming Filoni and Favreau are planning a big collective story with The Mandalorian/ The Book of Boba Fett/ Ahsoka/ Rangers of the New Republic. The last two are perfect places to integrate Thrawnâs character. (If the rumors about Hera Syndulla being a leading character in ROTNR, then this would be REALLY epic)
Based on the fact that Thrawn is the Magistrateâs âmaster,â I think itâs pretty safe to say that at the time of the Ahsoka series, Thrawn is still a bad guy.
The Ahsoka series will be set after ROTJ, obviously, so the Empire has fallen. But, as weâve seen, some Imperial officers were keeping the Empire alive. What if Thrawn helps to start the First Order? Heâs certainly smart enough to do the whole thing himself and heâd have the respect of the ex-imperials.
But how? If heâs actively giving the Magistrate orders and stuff, then heâs alive and (hopefully) not with Ezra. We know Ezra absolutely cannot be dead because then the show would have no real plot and it would be a disappointment. Yes, Ezra was previously tempted to the Dark Side, but itâs impossible to believe that he went full evil and served the Empire. So what is the goal of Ahsoka asking for Thrawnâs location if the goal is to find Ezra? I donât know
If Ezra and Thrawn survived, was there a fight? Did they simply part ways? Did they help each other to survive or something? I guess weâll see
Now I will admit, I have not read the Thrawn books nor have I read any comics, so I donât really know what Iâm talking about, but I think itâs possible for Thrawn to be redeemed.
He is one of the few Star Wars villains that is not evil by nature or anger. Thrawn is a very neutral person that bases his choices on reason. He joined the Empire in a deal with the Emperor. In exchange for his service as a skilled military tactician, the Empire would not harm his people, the Chiss, or invade his planet, Csilla. Prior to this deal, Thrawn was exiled by his people. The fact that he joined the Empire to protect them, despite his differences, could show his selflessness. Or, from a certain point of view, his ability to sense what will benefit him the most. Instead of being a prisoner and an exile, he would become a well-respected officer. In the Rebels finale, he even said âWho deserves what is irrelevant. What matters is who has powerâ in response to Ezra telling him he didnât deserve to have the artifacts in his collection. This can possibly be excused with the fact that the Empire indoctrinated everyone, but still.
However, Thrawn was never one to be unnecessarily cruel to Rebels or subordinates within the Empire. He never used slurs or offensive adjectives commonly used by Star Wars characters (ex: âRebel scumâ), simply letting his words and intelligence do the intimidating.
He also doesnât tolerate the disrespect of art or culture (including race/species), as we saw when Slavin called Heraâs kalikori a âpiece of Twiâlek trashâ and Thrawn kinda lost his sh*t and growled in his face (as he should). I imagine this is partially because he was one of the only non-human officers within the Imperial ranks and he knows how it feels to feel inferior because he wasnât human. This might be motive to leave the Empire, but his will is probably stronger than that.
From everything Iâve seen, I believe that Ezra might be able to convince Thrawn to leave the Empire. Thrawn failed Palpatine when his TIE project was ruined by Pryce, Ezra refused to be seduced to the dark side, and the RebeIâs took victory on Lothal. With the Chimera being sent to the unknown regions, wouldnât the Emperor think Thrawn was killed and Ezra sacrificed himself to do so? He has a perfect opportunity to do whatever he wants, free of regulations and orders. Why would Thrawn go back? The Emperor wouldnât be happy with him even if he did prove his loyalty.
Based on Thrawnâs characteristics, I can see 3 possible explanations for Thrawn leaving the Empire:
Palpatine didnât follow through on his end of the deal
Thrawn/Palpatine died
He saw no logical reason to continue to serve or he was convinced it was illogical to serve (like Wandaâs Vision vs Haywardâs Vision in the Wandavision finale)
I just think itâd be neat to see Thrawn turn his back on the Empire, even if itâs unlikely.
Yes, I spent too long writing this and itâs still not that comprehensible because Iâm scatter-brained
