You know, I think a lot about Kinn's ruthlessness.

This man is a cold blooded killer, straight up, he has shot at least 3 unarmed men dead (granted, with provocation), he genuinely faced down and murdered the man he loved (even if he wasnt actually dead), he calmly ordered and casually enjoyed the torture of a defenseless man, he was fully ready and willing to support Porsche in executing the harmless old stranger who he'd thought killed his parents, he drew a weapon on his own blood for so much as touching his porsche bodyguard, he readily looked Porsche dead in the eyes and told him, twice, that he essentially meant nothing, one time directly after personally ordering his punishment for the infraction of being drugged and fucking him (and also parading another man in front of him for good measure). Kinn is capable of wanton violence and emotional cruelty on an extreme scale, and he doesn't shy away from getting his hands dirty. It is entirely reasonable to describe him as morally bankrupt. He is not a good man.

And the thing is, this doesn't change. This is not a story about him learning to be kinder, softer, gentler. Falling for Porsche doesn't bring out some other side of him that abhors violence, it doesn't change him 'for the better'-- Porsche brings life to his passion, his playfulness, his love, but those aspects of Kinn don't alter his fundamental ruthlessness. He makes passionate love to Porsche one night and then guns his uncle down in the street the next morning, after all.

I just think it's a fascinating and underexplored aspect to his character. Like, yeah, Kinn is an absolute sweetheart during the honeymoon phase, this man loves Porsche with his whole heart and is willing to shout it from the rooftops and be incredibly adorable about it, but at the end of the day, he's got a hell of a lot of blood on his hands, and sleeps soundly every night.
