FIRST COURSE - KNIVES
(or at least the ones I recognised from the TV-show so far)

mads mikkelsen by kenneth willardt for vanity fair italy, 2015 - aka my favorite shoot of his.
i apologize.
1. Spyderco Harpy
• appears in Hannibal season 3 in Italy .ೃ࿐
The Harpy was designed as a knife for seamen, featuring a karambit style blade that magically cuts right through rope, the serration lending a hand to the task.
Additionally, the Harpy boasts a detailed tip, which can chew through a manner of different materials, probably one of the main reasons why Hannibal found it handy for different...matters. To sum it up: This is not one of his kitchen knives, but rather one he used as a pocket knife in all different kind of situations.
Originally the japanese Spyderco Harpy was designed to accommodate the needs of commercial fishermen. The hawksbill blade is modeled after the talon of the Harpy eagle, allowing for a deliberate pulling cut where the object does not slip off the end of the edge. The hollow-ground blade incorporates SpyderEdge serrations and a thick spine for support. The handle is made of stainless steel with a drying vent, perfect for Hannibal and his exquisite taste…and of course correspondingly expensive. A good 200 euros for this fine tool, everybody. But he seems to be rolling in money, so no problem for our favourite cannibal.

2. Chroma Type 301 style by F. A. Porsche
• appear in various episodes as Hannibal’s kitchen knives .ೃ࿐
To be honest I really fell in love with the Spyderco Harpy and didn’t quite think anything could change that. But. When I tell you the design…omg. The Chroma Type 301 knife series was brought to life by F.A. Porsche (yup, the german car guy) and the chef of the decade, Jörg Wörther (austrian chef).
Japanese knives have achieved global recognition for their quality, as the Japanese hold a long tradition in metallurgy. The Japanese metallurgists have elevated the forging and sharpening of the blade into a form of art for hundreds of years, since the era of the notorious Katana swords. On the other hand, Europeans and Americans also make excellent knives, often characterized by superior ergonomics and design, but rarely distinguished for the hardness and sharpness of their blade.
The type 301 knife series by Chroma bridges the gap between Japanese tradition and the European design, this series standing out for its unique design and practical function. Porsche and Wörther closely worked together in order to develop the final shape of the handle, which is optimized for maximum usability. The result is a precision cutting tool. Each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand and in combination with the highly ergonomic handle, it feels like an extension of the user’s hand. The Chroma type 301 knives follow faithfully the Japanese philosophy, which dictates a knife to be lightweight and flexible. They are made of high-quality Japanese 301 steel, a relatively lightweight material which has a 56-58 hardness rating in the Rockwell hardness scale. This renders the type 301 knives harder than most of the non-Japanese knives and among the hardest knives within their price range. The increased hardness allows the knife to maintain its sharpness longer and also to slice better.Even though the Chroma type 301 knives are mass produced, they are carefully razorsharp sharpened by the hand of a master. Quality control is performed on one-to-one basis and not through random sampling. And by the way…did I mention the extraordinary design.

3. Kai Shun Knives
• appear in various episodes as Hannibal’s kitchen knives .ೃ࿐
Before Shun Cutlery was established in the western market, most people were used to heavy European-style kitchen knives. With Shun’s entry into the marketplace, home cooks and professional chefs alike were introduced to the lightweight precision of fine Japanese cutlery. Thinner blades, sharper edges, and lighter weight gave Shun a high-performance edge that the heavier knives couldn’t match. Each Shun still takes at least 100 handcrafted steps to complete and Shun remains true to its ancient heritage of quality. At the same time, Shun takes advantage of thoroughly modern, premium materials and state-of-the-art technology to provide that traditional quality to millions of professional chefs and avid home cooks throughout the world.
Today, Shun has become one of the most well-known names in kitchen cutlery. It has won awards for innovation and quality. It has been admired and emulated. With new styles, new materials, and an ongoing dedication to the spirit of innovation, Shun will continue to provide Japanese kitchen cutlery of outstanding beauty, impeccable precision, and the very highest performance.

4. Global Knives
• appear in various episodes as Hannibal’s kitchen knives .ೃ࿐
Global G Series knives are typically put together in what's called a three piece construction. The blade is stamped out of sheets of steel of a proprietary stainless steel alloy, while the two handles are created and welded together separately. The blade and handle are then welded together into one solid piece of stainless steel.
What makes these Global knives a bit unusual is that they start off empty. The blades are welded on without a tang and the handles are actually hollow. Instead, to maintain balance, they are filled with a very precise amount of sand.
Now it's quite unusual and you might just write this off as Japan being Japan and doing things differently because...well, they're Japan, but it seems to work very well for them.
The ability to inject a precise amount of weight (sand, in this case) as needed directly into the knife has led to them getting a reputation or having very precise and excellently balanced knives across their range of products.
That said, ergonomics are always personal.
Global G Series knives tend to feel very lightweight and evenly balanced. Some people tend to prefer a knife that is more weighted to the back for a firmer grip, or to the front for chopping action. This is the classic global knife version, but of course there are various other series one can discover. Unfortunately I am not able to tell the exact version Hannibal uses in the show by just watching...if anyone has an idea let me know!!!

SECOND COURSE - KITCHEN
(or at least the main parts i recognized)

mads mikkelsen and lydia hearst for "euroman", april 2010 by kenneth willardt.
1. GE Monogram 36" Rangetop
First up, the rangetop. Unlike a cooktop, which sets into a pre-cut space in a counter or island, a rangetop overflows the sides and extends beyond the boundaries of the counter with front-facing knobs. This unit in particular is the GE Monogram 36" Rangetop (ZGU366NPSS), with an MSRP of $3400, reversible grates, and six 18,000 BTU power boil burners.
2. 30" GE Monogram Tri-Zone Counter Depth Integrated Refrigerator
Next, a dual installation of 30" GE Monogram Tri-Zone Counter-Depth Integrated Refrigerators (ZIC30GNHIl, shown with optional custom panels for seamless appearance). With an MSRP of $6999 each, these units are made more shallow, known in the industry as counter-depth, to integrate properly with standard cabinetry. Featuring fridge, freezer, and convertible middle-drawer climate zones, this unit has a capacity of 14.09 cu. ft. overall, per unit. It has two separate sealed systems for constant temperature control, and uses the first HFC-Free refrigerant, which has a lower global-warming impact.
3. 30" GE Monogram European Convection Double Wall Oven
A 30" GE Monogram European Convection Double Wall Oven (ZET2SHSS). An MSRP of $5300, with two 5.0 cu. ft. capacity oven cavities. With easy-to-clean all-glass interior door panels, both self-clean and steam-clean options, ten-pass baking elements, and two True European Convection ovens, these units boast convection bake and roast features with closed-door broiling as to not overheat a kitchen, and a built-in temperature probe for perfectly cooked roasts. It also offers a proof mode to assist dough-rising for avid bakers, convection conversion as to not overcook standard recipes, can be monitored remotely with use of a smart phone and GE's WiFi Connect app, and is programmable in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
4. GE Monogram 240v Built In Oven with Advantium Speedcook Technology
Behold, the GE Monogram 240v Built In Oven with Advantium Speedcook Technology (ZSC2201JSS).
This bad chicken has an MSRP of $3200 and has settings for Speedcook, microwave, convection, and warming. What the hell is Speedcook? It's a combination of microwaves and convection, delivering results up to eight times faster than conventional cooking, and without the need for pre-heating. This thing can reheat, microwave, toast, brown, bake, and gently warm to your heart's content, and has the ability to remember custom recipes.
5. 30" GE Monogram Warming Drawer
Next up, the 30" GE Monogram Warming Drawer (ZW9000SJSS). With an MSRP of $1600, this drawer has a 1.9 cu. ft. capacity, and has variable temperature settings of anything from 75*F to 230*F, and humidity controls from crisp to moist. Gross. It also has a half-rack so you can store more on the inside, and has ball-bearing glides so it pulls out and closes smoothly while making that soothing whoosh noise.
6. 24" GE Monogram Undercabinet Wine Reserve
We also have the 24" GE Monogram Undercabinet Wine Reserve (ZDWR240HBS). With a cool MSRP of $2000, undercabinet wine refrigerators are notoriously tricky because of their front-facing venting needs. If you suffocate refrigerators, even small ones, (like humans) they die.
This fridge features cooling settings suitable to red or white wines, full-extension sliding racks with both horizontal and vertical storage, and has a capacity of 5.5 cu. ft, or 57 bottles.
Hannibal also, apparently, does not believe in dishwashers-panel-ready, drawer-style or otherwise.
What he does believe in? Is coffee, apparently:
7. Royal Paris Vacuum Balancing Coffee Siphon by Royal Coffee Maker
This, dear Fannibals, is a Royal Paris Vacuum Balancing Coffee Siphon, specifically noted by Bryan Fuller to be crafted by Royal Coffee Maker.
Handmade by artisans with affordable materials such as genuine Baccarat Crystal, malachite, copper, obsidian, azurite, and plating of silver and 24k gold, these start at the low, low price of approximately $15,500.
Hannibal's model is the Royal Classic finished in silver, on a Piano Black base. It is, perhaps surprisingly or unsurprisingly, the most tasteful and least ostentatious of all available models.

This brings the approximate total of all Hannibal's kitchen appliances, plus or minus a few of the minor ones, to $45,000.
8. Additionally in his stolen borrowed home in Florence: La Cornue 43" CornuFé Range
In 1908, in the heart of Paris, Albert Dupuy ignited the flame of elite cuisine. It was there that Dupuy premiered the world's first convection oven. At the time, most ovens were mere flat-topped cavities that held racks suspended over a fire. The majority of people simply considered cooking to be heating food to eat. But Dupuy pondered: "What does it really mean to cook?" He developed his oven with a vaulted ceiling to usher heat around the food, rather than trapping it to burn beneath. To enable optimum precision, the oven drew upon the city gas lines that were winding their way to homes and street lamps throughout the City of Light. Dupuy christened the oven La Cornue after the French term cornue - the system for refining the gas that warmed the new creation.
Each range is made by hand and the labor is intensive. Each worker is a specialist, understanding the greater goal.
However they are not just craftsmen, but companions to each range along its journey from inception to crated final product. They are experts in steel, copper and brass, inspired by great design, working as a team to create an inspired tradition.
True excellence can only be achieved when every step in the process is in pursuit of perfection.
For over 100 years, La Cornue has continued to build upon Albert's initial convection innovation and they've expanded the designs and introduced new styles. As a result, the name La Cornue is supposed to represent a renowned spirit.
Hannibal's version runs about $10,000.
THIRD COURSE - DISHES
(only the finest china)

mads mikkelsen by kenneth willardt.
1. Luigi Bormioli Beer Glasses
Not a hundred percent sure about this, fellow Fannibals, but the fancy v-shaped beer glasses Alana Bloom drinks from might be by Luigi Bormioli.
2. Mikasa Crown Jewel 5 Piece Place China Plate Setting combined with Knightsridge flatware
Hannibal uses platinum lined china when hosting his extravagant dinner parties throughout the first two seasons of the series. The lot includes a dinner place, salad plate, saucer, cup, salad fork, dinner fork, knife, soup spoon, and dessert soon. The plates and cup are Mikasa bone china (type of ceramic) and feature a platinum leaf design around the pieces' edges.
The flatware is Knightsridge brand and are believed to be sterling silver.
A simple yes to those beautiful bone china plates.

3. Gien French China by Tiffany combined with Dutch silverware, nineteenth century, by Christofle and damask cotton table linen, also by Christofle
In season three, episode five "Contorno" it is mentioned, that Hannibal uses the Gien French China by Tiffany in combination with Dutch silverware and damask cotton table linen by Christofle. Thanks Alana I guess.

4. Appetizer Plates
Hannibal's appetizer plates appear in episode six, season two "Futamono". In this episode, Hannibal hosts a party at his home and provides his guests with elaborate appetizers on black trays. This lot consists of three plates, each made of a black stone material, and outfitted with felt material on the bottom.
FOURTH COURSE - COOKWARE
(unfortunately only one item)

forever thankful for kenneth willardt.
1. Le Creuset Casserole
In the second episode of season two "Sakizuki" Hannibal prepares Osso Buco (in his "style" of course) and we see him creating his sensational culinary art while using a beautiful cherry red Le Creuset Rectangle Casserole. Le Creuset's fine porcelain-enamel cooware has been manufactured in the small french village of Fresnoy - le - Grand since 1925.
It is highly valued by professional chefs and a classic in cooking history.
Other brands that make a quick aopearance: Calphalon?

Tristan and Isolde

mads mikkelsen as ‘tristan’ in “king arthur”, 2004
Tristan is a prince whose mother is the sister of the King, Mark. Both of his parents died when he was young, and he was raised by Gorvenal to be a gifted swordsman and musician (Tristan became an accomplished harp-player). Isolde, meanwhile, is a princess, the King of Ireland’s daughter. She is beautiful and fair-haired and admired far and wide.
Cornwall is bound by fealty to Ireland, which demands that Cornwall send 300 youths and 300 maidens to Ireland as tribute.
However, if a Cornish champion could beat the Irish giant Morholt (the King’s brother-in-law) in single combat, the King of Ireland agreed that the tribute would not need to be paid.
Tristan defeats Morholt, but is badly wounded with a poisoned spear. He is left on a ship to die. But the ship finds its way to the shores of Ireland, where Tristan is taken into the royal palace. The sorceress queen cures him with an incantation, and Tristan falls in love with Isolde, to whom he reveals his true identity. When she learns that he has killed Morholt, her uncle, she declares her hatred for him, and Tristan returns to Cornwall.
Mark wants to marry Isolde, so he sends Tristan as his ambassador, to bring Isolde back to Cornwall so they can be wed. In Ireland, the wedding agreed, the sorceress queen bids Isolde farewell, but gives a love potion to the maid-servant named Brangien, with instructions to give it to the married couple on their wedding night.
On the voyage to Cornwall, Tristan and Isolde need a drink and both drink the love potion, not realising that it isn’t wine. They promptly fall in love. After the wedding of Mark and Isolde, Brangien – realising that the error with the love potion is all her fault – takes the place of Isolde in King Mark’s bed on the wedding night, to trick the King into thinking she is Isolde. Meanwhile, the real Isolde is in Tristan’s arms.
Mark doesn’t realise the deception for a while, although the rumours are all around the court. Eventually, his most loyal barons tell him that Isolde is unfaithful. Although Mark banishes Tristan from the palace, Tristan and Isolde continue to meet in secret. When they are discovered together, they are sentenced to death by burning. However, the lovers escape, and go on the run together.

They go and live as a poor couple in the woods, until one day, King Mark discovers them, walking in on them while they’re both fast asleep. But when he sees the sword between them and realises the lengths they have gone to in order to guard their love, he feels sorry for them, and replaces the ring on Isolde’s finger as a sign that he forgives her. He also places his sword between them, in place of Tristan’s, as a token or gift for his former knight.
When the two lovers wake, they are so moved by the King’s mercy and kindness that they return to court. Mark welcomes Isolde back, but he tells Tristan he cannot remain at court. He is exiled from Cornwall and goes to live in Brittany, where he marries another woman named Isolde, oddly enough: Isolde of the White Hands, as she is known.
Tristan remains loyal to Isolde and cannot make love to his new wife (Isolde of the White Hands). He is wounded in battle (as before, with a poisoned lance), but this time there is no cure. As he lies dying, he asks one of his companions, Kaherdin, to go and tell Isolde (as in King Mark’s wife, Tristan’s first love) that he is dying and he wants to see her one last time.
Tristan tells Kaherdin to hoist a white sail to his ship if he is successful in locating Isolde, but a black sail if he fails. (Compare this plot detail with the ancient Greek legend of Theseus, too.) Unfortunately, Tristan’s wife hears of this plan.
Kaherdin finds Isolde and she agrees to come and see her true lover. However, Isolde of the White Hands, Tristan’s wife, lies and tells her husband that she has seen Kaherdin’s ship bearing a black sail. Heartbroken, Tristan dies. Isolde arrives with Kaherdin and learns she has missed Tristan, who has already departed this life. She dies of a broken heart shortly afterwards, her lips locked with Tristan’s in one last kiss.

My christmas dream
Just imagine Hannibal became Santa Claus :
First Hannibal gonna only be called like that “Hanniball Canniclaus”
Second just imagine him wearing santa claus outfit very smexy.
Third just him became Hanni-meow-meow de los muertos
Final step will who’s gonna be Mrs. Santa Claus aka “Santa MoThErf*c*ING
Mama” (since he’s not en el closet)
Hannibal and will truly matched eachother freaks
I hate when people says that Adam (2009) is a bad representation of autism ; we’re all different and autism is a very large spectrum, adam IS realistic, it maybe does not match YOUR perception of autism but it IS a great representation. There’s a lot of things I related to and some I didn’t, but overall I don’t think it should be considered as a bad movie, because it certainly is not. The real problem in it is the pairing, adam did not find anyone that truly understands him and the end clearly shows that Beth was CLEARLY not a nice match for him, and he’s definitely going to have a way better relationship with the box girl at the end since they have the same passion about space and stuff. Beth and all the other people around him mostly did not make any effort in understanding him and NO the movie doesn’t mean that autistic people are unable of being in healthy relationships, just that if they’re not with someone that understands them, it is not going to work. Anyways, I loved Adam.
I thought of something ; an AU where Adam is an university teacher and kinda like will, he gets to talk non stop about his special interest, as his job. That’s genius
just finished watching all of hannibal aND WHAT WAS THAT
WHO ALLOWED THIS
im actually in distress rn
I dont think we're getting another season guys
implied spoiler under the cut
im honestly surprised they made it that far after loosing so much blood over the years so at least they get to rest now
cause there was many times where I said "how is anybody still alive ???"

I believe there's some kind of pattern

The cliff scene in Hannibal was so beautiful. A masterpiece. A beautiful way to die.
When they’re a lgbt ship where one is batshit crazy and the other is the only one who can understand them
