“That was fucking awful!” Harry exclaims, mouth filled with popcorn.

“Shut up!” y/n cries, mouth open in offense, “You have no taste, The Princess Bride is beautiful!” 

“It had no substance… do y’know what movie does, though?”

Y/n gives him a warning glance, “don’t you dare say it.”

“A film by my dear friend, Mr. Christopher Nolan, by the name of Dunkirk. Have you heard of it?”

She rolls her eyes at him, reaching forward to grab a slice of pizza from the half-empty box on the coffee table in front of them, “Aish, you’re such a narcissist Harry! It’s been three years and you still haven’t shut up about that!”

“Can you blame me? It was my cinematic debut!”

Harry had bombarded y/n with a bunch of texts, begging her to come over that night to watch a movie with him, with promises that he’d provide a large pizza and her favorite snacks if she’d bail on her other friends. If she’s being honest, she probably would’ve ditched her plans without the food bribery. Harry’s her best friend and she’d prefer his company over anyone else’s, no matter the occasion. But who was she to reject a free pizza?

“Whatever.” she huffs, “Westley isn’t in Dunkirk, so therefore, The Princess Bride is better.”

“But I’m in Dunkirk, so Dunkirk is better.” he rations, leaning over to y/n’s side of the couch and opening his mouth, sticking his tongue out a little bit to signal that he wants a bite of her pizza. 

“Westley is more attractive,” she teases as she holds the slice up to his mouth, feeding him a bite. 

An adorable giggle bubbles past her lips when he lets out an offended ‘hey!’, and Harry can’t help but stare at her in awe. He looks up at her with heart-eyes as she scrunches up her nose in amusement and throws her head back with laughter, and he’s so proud of himself for making her laugh. Because he really loves her laugh.

Well, he just loves her in general. How couldn’t he? She’s the sweetest girl he’s ever met.
