Exciting News!

Tommorow is the day that I go back to school. I am SO not looking forward too it, but since I'm going to be a high school sophomore, things shouldn't be quite as bad as last year. At the very least I have some friends and know most of the teachers.

But, anyways, onto the REALLY exciting news! My school district is fortunate enough to be very close to two schools called the "Deleware County Technical Schools" or DCTS/"Vo-Tech" for short. To my understanding, students will go to this school for half the schoolday and regular classes the other half. At these technical schools we'll learn from professionals about the skills we'll need in the future to excell in our chosen career.

There are multiple courses where students learn hands on how to do all kinds of different things like repairing cars, wood work and carpentry, culinary arts, etc. However, space is very limited and only a select group of students who apply will be accepted for the courses.

My mom just got the letter from DCTS on Saturday. I was pretty scared to read the letter, but I fortunately got in! I'll be taking Commercial Art and Design courses at the school strating on Wednesday! I am super excited to see the school and learn more about my dream job!
