Once she finds the stones, Jing Wei heads home, until a bright light blinds her and an indescribable pain shoots through her left wing and stomach. Paralyzed, she plummets from the sky into the icy waters, like a stone thrown into a pond. Panic soon takes hold of her and blood fills the churning water. Unable to move, tears well up in her wild eyes. Her vision blurs in and out, like the dark waves are caving in and then expanding all around her; her lungs collapsed as they begged for oxygen; a sickening dizziness destroyed her mind and she felt weighed down by the very sea itself, yet weightless. The surface... So close. So unbearably close. Just had to go... Just swim up... Swim to surface... To hope. Eyes... So heavy. But so weightless too. As Jing Wei's blood drained away, so did all the heat in her frigid body. All warmth was replaced with an unforgiving icy chill. The deafening, pounding pressure in her ears made the Oathkeeper's head feel as if it would blow up in a million tiny chinks of flesh and blood. What sounded to be muffled splashing was one of the last things Jing Wei heard as her vision finally faded, the metallic taste of blood in her mouth leaving as the water was filled with more red that was slowly fading away, the soothing darkness that enveloped her like a cold blanket. A darkening silhouette of what the drowning angel could assume was a hand or arm, shot towards her. Her arms, weightless and floating, were just within the grasp of the hand. So close. But not close enough. As her thoughts slowly began to die off, finally fade away to black, one last thought surged through her mind... Daddy?

I wanted to draw something spooky for Inktober, so I made a Harpy!Athena. I know it’s shit, but I’m still proud.

I’ve always liked the expelled Hel skin and wanted those style of skins to continue into a whole series kinda like the stargazer ones so I drew this one of course she’s meant to be the generic school girl late for school toast in mouth I loved drawing this (not so much coloring it)

Yeah I just put together a quick idea for the competition, I haven’t got much time to do it perfectly because of my uni deadlines which is sad, but hey! It was a fun design to mess around with and just dream of the card art potential!
