Territory of Light

Light scatters all around us. The colors that we see are the colors that aren't absorbed but the ones that reflect back to us. If KM are like light, wouldn't whatever we see in them be the one color that reflects back? Or maybe they reflect all of them, like a rainbow.

At times, people look to them to see a sign that tells them it's either love or friendship that they perceive. Some people are even worse, and they look at them and see irritation or animosity reflected back. Those people need to get their eyes checked because that's beyond bad eye sight. That's just disingenuous.

I'm sure jikook don't look at themselves from afar, like we do. We look at them like we're gazing up at the moon. To them, they're just Jimin and Jungkook. Who share a band and who have a lot of history. Words often fail to capture the complex weight of their bond. How do you define that burning feeling in your chest when you're together? Emotions are rarely just one thing. Some have often been there for a while before you realize what exactly it is that you're feeling. Feelings that run steady like a current flowing underneath all of the other ones. And then there are those sparks. That flare up whenever that person looks at you in a certain way, or grabs you by the back of your shirt.

But can words really capture a look? Or a simple touch? A touch that isn’t showy and that is barely acknowledged. But a touch that was surely meaningful because it was leaden with depth of feeling. The kind of touch that didn’t need any words to make itself felt.

Jimin felt that touch and knew that Jungkook was seeing the whole of him. Jungkook wordlessly (intimacy right here) let Jimin know that he empathized with him, struggling once again with his health. Not for show, just for them.

And then, finally, once Jimin is feeling better, as we saw in ep. 4 of Are You Sure, once he's well rested, we can instantly tell that the heavy head of the sunflower is once again looking up at the sun, that the world becomes brighter for the both of them. What a relief!

They need their light. They live in it to recharge their batteries, and they don't care who sees them. This show might be the brightest spotlight on their bond either of them have ever stood in, and they're doing it together. They're not hiding. It is both exhilarating to watch and incredible to see how much they bloom under each other's gaze.

That love is for them. Not for show. Surroundings slip away, and it's almost like it's just the two of them.

So... let me get this straight. Jimin posted a pre-recorded video for Jungkook’s birthday while on the flight back from Paris, then went to have a birthday party with Jungkook right after. I’m already screaming.

He gifted him a Jack Skellington music box that’s found only in Disneyland Paris. Again with the Nightmare before Christmas stuff...

AND he got him a Supreme skateboard, PLUS the basketball jersey Kook is wearing. 🥺

Not to mention his tweet?! Jimin posted a cute pic of Jungkook (who looks so adorable wHAT) with stickers and small messages at his little party. And he said “I’m happy to see you after not seeing you for a few days”. AJSKSKSJ WHAT

He’s making it very clear that he was in Paris, so I’m wondering if something’s up with that...

And oml, all the people that were freaking out about how “jikook is over”... Jimin said it all. 🤷‍♀️

Jimin has been SUCH A SIMP for JK on this trip, he's making me believe he set up this whole show JUST to gift JK an excuse to travel together while doing all of JK's favorite things. It's not for Jimin, but it's all for JK, all there is to do for Jimin is to *see case in point*, sit back, relax and watch the boy GLOW. Tell me you know and love someone by the type of holiday you design to get them to relax.
