The real reason Tamaki Amajiki likes butterflies is not because they're pretty, oh no, butterflies are silent predators like him. Butterflies look weak, they drink nector from pretty flowers. They also swarm carcasses for blood, they latch onto the faces of herbivores to drink there tears, butterflies are bright and colorful to ward off other predators because they can are harmful to eat. These little bugs would be happy to see you bleed in order to have a meal, the perfect insect to represent silent but deadly. Just like him, think twice before you see a hero with bright pretty colors, they might poison your reality.
