Ringtone- a Doctor Who fanfiction
hi this is my first fanfic so it isn't perfect. there's no ships or anything just something I thought of one day.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You hear the noise waking you up in the night. The TARDIS sound. You groan and check your phone.
You had made it your ringtone when you first got your phone last year. Seemed like a good idea at the time, being the massive fan/geek you were. Of course it wasn’t the think you wanted to hear at two in the morning. Good job you didn’t go with the Dalek.
You click messages. No new message. Do the same with calls. No new voicemails. Strange. You hear it again and look outside, just in case. But nothing. It seems strange but you don’t think of it much more as you fall back to sleep.
Few days later when you’re walking home. Wasn’t the best day you’ve had, so you get a bit annoyed when you hear your ringtone again. But no one contacted you. You looked around but there wasn’t anyone around. Then, surly not, you see a flash of blue as you’re looking around. You look again but there’s nothing there. You forget about what you couldn’t have seen and wonder about going to get your phone looked at- it’s probably broken.
However the very next day something extra ordinary happens. You’re on your phone looking at you’re ‘friends’ on Facebook when you hear that ringtone again. And you know there’s no message. You look out of the window and somehow it’s there, the thing you thought possibly couldn’t exist…
The blue phone box.
You run outside except now there’s a man outside of it. And you know who it is. You run inside the box, seeing what it is and what you thought it would be and so much more. “So where do you want to go” the man – the Doctor you should say- says. Before you can say the TARDIS goes off. Oh wait it’s you’re ringtone this time. But now you know and don’t care. You leave it behind as you rush off through the universe
