But I Honestly Think Scarring Or Heavily Scarred Is Seen As Unattractive Since It Usually Shadows A Violent
But I honestly think scarring or heavily scarred is seen as unattractive since it usually shadows a violent personality. Or a rough or even poverty ridden upbringing. Scarless dragons are seen as better fighters or smart enough not to pick fights with dragons they can't beat. During war eras a lack of scars shows wealth in most tribes as mostly low class dragons are drafted into wars.
Does anyone else ever wonder what the beauty standards are in wof? Like they’ll often describe a dragon as beautiful but like what is beautiful for a dragon??? Maybe it’s the facial structure or snout size idk. If anyone has any thoughts on this or headcanon, I’m very curious to hear!

Every time a series introduces an ocean race why is the whole thing always:
War against the surface dwellers. The surface dwellers are polluting the ocean. The surface dwellers are inferior. Blah blah blah surface dwellers this , surface dwellers that. And then they are all villains trying to flood the planet to take over the world

discussing the inaccuracies of logic in WoF is so fun when you don't have a ugly bitch in your ear telling you "Erm...its a fictional kids book!!! its not that deep"

Kingdom of the Sea Headcanons Part 1/???

The closer the island is to one of the palaces the more rich or high class the dragons living there are.
The most important rich dragons and nobles who don't live in the palace live on the cluster of 5 islands near the palace in the region known as ''The Tail Tip''
While poorer/low class dragons live on the long island that's connected to the Mud Kingdom and the islands facing the Sky and Mud kingdom. Those parts of the kingdom are seen as dangerous and prone to invasion and destruction during war times and unfit for the higher class
There are a few underwater villages sprinkled in the kingdom they exist in-between the islands and inside or outside the peninsula. For some dragons living on land is a privilege due to high taxes ordered by the crown. If one island displeases the queen this is one way she can punish them.
Each Island is ruled and monitored by a Noble or Member of the royal family of the queens choice usually there with a group of guards to enforce laws and orders. They live in large mansions nicknamed "mini palaces"
Coral's scrolls are hated by teachers, students and parents alike as they are expensive and have no academic value whatsoever. She is not popular amongst, the more low class dragons, the worship from dragons working directly for her comes out of fear rather than respect, it's quite hard to talk shit about a queen when she is right next door with executioners.
Only a few dragons knew of the location of the summer palace giving the information to the whole tribe would lead to traitors selling such information to their enemies. Only the dragons living and working there knew it's location and we're all under orders to tell no one
Many Seawings dragons nearest to the Mud and Sky kingdoms working as merchants. Others work in pearl fishing and boat making as boats will become important from dragons traveling too and from Pantala. Others hunt for rarer more expensive fish to sell as food to the higher classes.
The Sea kingdom didn't have scrolls untill Whirlpool's invention of waterproof ink so most stories and laws were told by mouth or aquatic.
There are military outposts on the islands closer to Prryhia.
Graveyards are all underwater to save to little land they have.
Weddings are done in beautiful Coral Reefs with rings carved from large pearls that go on the horns rather than the finger.
Fun fact the outer islands in the sea kingdom are known as the Outer Isles thank you guidebook
i feel like being in a fandom long-term has a very specific repetitive cycle that kind of looks like this
