Here's Poodle my wof Roblox oc thing. I based her off a poodle moth

Backstory:

Poodle was born and raised in the Jewel Hive by her parents Satin and Tupelo she always dreamed of being a model or a spinner but ended up being assigned to the Bloodworm Hive as a servant for a wealthy family. She ended up meeting the Bloodworm Hive Chrysalis and after a few years took up a leading position in the group.

She is charismatic and caring eventually joining the Silkwing council after Queen Wasp is dethroned. She has a deep love of art and fashion and helps start up Silkwing owned businesses to help fund the new kingdom

please please PLEASE just go to the wings of fire naming wiki for dragon city names or oc names. no it is not for 'uncreative' people. yes it is fandom and that sucks. but is it useful? yeah. will I go to hell just for saying to go there? no. if I see one more atlas in wof Roblox I'm actually going to commit atrocities

Ruby was never mentioned to be the last heir to the Skywing throne, it was only implied as she is the only one mentioned. Scarlet even implies that there were other dragons when claiming the arena was a good distraction for other challengers. Even if she was Scarlet could have easily had another clutch of eggs. Even if she didn't have a king after Canyon she could have found another noble to have eggs with. Also your right the last heir wouldn't have been drafted into the army.

Also she wasn't sent at random on patrol she was a general (I checked the wiki) so it was safe to assume that she was leading it. With 14 Skywings to protect her I think she was fine. She was a general so her life would have already been in danger from serving in the war being in one patrol in Skywing territory isn't that much of a risk to the rest of the stuff that she probably had to do as a general.

She acted the way she did in the prologue is because she was seen in a position that we have not seen in before. She acts more nasty then we see her in later books and acts like she doesn't care about the lives of her fellow Skywings. I see this as her putting up a facade to intimidate Winter and Hailstorm come quietly.

When people say that it was out of character for Ruby to capture Hailstorm in the prologue I disagree. She was a loyal member of the Skywing army and an enemy prince flew over the border so she took him prisoner. What's wrong with that? Was she really supposed to be nice about it. Just because she is presented as a sympathetic character in most books doesn't mean she's going to be all nice to dragons of an enemy tribe during a war. She literally just did her job, Hailstorm was her enemy at the time
