Ootengu romantic headcanons

He's not a romantic type at all

Ootengu is capable of trying such things just for the sake of pleasing his partner. However, this will not be something permanent

He likes it when they smile and genuinely enjoy something. However, this guy himself is very clumsy when it comes to romantic words, so he arranges some beautiful date

Ootengu prefers to pretend he doesn't care, but this tengu-boy really wants to hear from s/o that he did well and they like it

Makes meaningful gifts

He doesn't like it when someone interferes with his and his partner's romantic moments

These character traits will certainly be one of the determining factors as to why Fake Moon Lord will take an interest in them. And at first, this guy won't have the best of goals: he'll want to see how deeply they can fall into despair

Tsukuyomi will definitely quickly get used to the fact that such a person allows him not just to exist, but to feel life itself. However, he will not be in a hurry to form a bond with them. That would take centuries (I don't think he would bond with a mortal creature seriously)

Since this guy is free to do what he wants, Tsuki will increasingly come to them and "wreak havoc" in s/o's life

Tsukuyomi doesn't care much about how interested s/o are in him as there is no romantic background for him initially, he will slowly reach this person through other people who are close to them

In fact, not always driven by bad motives Tsukuyomi may be interested in them. But for the essence of an evil god to create friendship like a normal person, he is not capable, and so he does everything his own way, even if not always successfully

Fake Moon Lord likes it when s/o know how to use sarcasm and are able to parry his jokes

This type of personality, if it is mutual, is very attractive to him as a relationship partner. They both have a lot to go through before they can build an intimate relationship. In all likelihood, Tsuki will make the first move as it will be an atypical feeling for him and the desire not to let go of someone who has fully accepted him will overwhelm him

In pet peeves request it says susanoo wouldn’t like his lover keeping secrets from him so can I request hc on how susanoo would react to lover keeping secrets from him and also hanging around others more than him? But they are not actually cheating and are taking classes to learn how to cook to surprise susanoo with dinner?

Often Susanoo is not able to quickly realize something about feelings, also Warrior God can be very stubborn, but he is not stupid and understands when something goes wrong

The first thing Susanoo will feel is loneliness, this guy will think he has been abandoned

Susanoo won't make any investigations and just ask s/o what's going on

If they don't tell him anything, he'll go ask his friends for advice

Warrior God doesn't worry much about their mortality as long as they're around him. There's nothing Susanoo can do about the fact that he can fall in love with a mortal

He can hardly fall in love with anyone else

For him, human life lasts only a moment, but Susanoo is willing to go to that length to know what it feels like to be truly loved

Susanoo will remember s/o for the rest of his life and believe that one day they will meet again

Izanagi

Unlike his adopted son, he's more sensible and wouldn't want a mortal around, but Izanagi also can't help it with his heart should he fall in love

It will be almost impossible for him to forget his beloved, and Izanagi will refrain from serious relationships

He's a pretty powerful god and will make sure they stay with him even after death. At least Ancient God will do his best

The time this guy spends with them will be as precious to him as the time Izanagi spends raising his adopted son

Tsukuyomi

Well, it's really hard for this guy to be interested in someone seriously enough to fall in love. If he does, it's serious

He is very skeptical of this kind of relationship and generally dislikes the mortal world in that regard (but likes to interfere in some events of interest to him), as his children have found nothing good about it

Tsukuyomi's true nature is quite frightening, and it will be very valuable to him that they don't fear him at all. So perhaps s/o are willing to undergo some changes after death. Since he would either do anything to keep them with him or prefer to die with them

If he could do nothing, their deaths would echo painfully throughout his entire existence on earth

Susabi

In this respect, Susabi is like his teacher and friend

This guy will treasure every day spent with s/o, for given his specialization as a god, he is always very busy

The God of prophecy would want his partner to stay with him after death, and if that wasn't possible, he would turn them into a star so that s/o would always be by his side and watch over him

It will take him a long time to come to terms with his partner's death, even by the gods' standards. Susabi will maintain his outward calm

He's a really great husband

Izanagi is quite caring

Even though Izanagi is pretty old, he's still learning and interested in new things (I tend to think he's marrying someone much younger than him)

Ancient God doesn't like it when they remind him of his age, but his partner will obviously be teasing him about it

He is overprotective, but still able to find a balance between their freedom and protection

This grandpa guy can, but he doesn't like to cook. The same goes for cleaning and other household chores. Izanagi tends to pass these worries on to his s/o (although he can help sometimes, too, if his partner is persistent enough and knocks him on the head with something)

Honestly, he wouldn't want a partner who is exclusively occupied with household chores, he is still very playful and young at heart. (and outwardly… marry m-) Izanagi wants to travel occasionally and would prefer s/o who can stand up for himself, because he wants them to be with him

Being in Yomi no kuni is very boring and tiring, so Izanagi will be the one to initiate all sorts of travel

Definitely likes to spend a lot of time in bed with his s/o

Although Izanagi respects his partner and their opinion, but he will still take the lead in the family
